Evolutionists state that humans evolved over a period of millions of years. This from BBC: By two million years ago, a new species of Homo appeared - the first species we would truly recognise as human.

BUT THEIR IS A BIG PROBLEM WITH THE FACTS...

Oldes civilization found in Europe ONLY 4600BC
http://www.buzzle.com/editorials/7-5-2005-72654.asp

Egyp only dates back to 3000 B.C., That is only about 5000 years ago. http://www.civilization.ca/civil/egypt/egctimee.html

Mesopotamia also 5000 years ago, Oldest civilization known!!!
http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-47441/history-of-education

China only about 3500 years ago.
http://www.britannica.com/eb/article-47441/history-of-education

In other words, civilization is fairly NEW

IN court this evidence will favor the Bible. In court...this would be evidence against Evolution theory. Where are the 2 MILLION YEARS of human history????

WOW,

I never thought people that believe in EVolution where that closed minded.

You defend a theory that has absolutely no proof in record BOOKS. Incredible. Simply stunning.

Do you realize what 2,000,000 years is. Are you telling me we lived in caves for 1,994,000 years!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL

your hopeless... LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL

And then one day decided to leave our caves and build amazing pyramids structures....Wahahahahaaha!

In the caves, bro, in the caves.

Ever hear of cave men?

They didn't have "civilizations" because they lived in caves.

But FYI the oldest human remains are dated at 195,000 yrs old. http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Oldest_human_remains_dated

The environment is the living and non-living things that are found in the same space and time that an animal or a plant may occupy. That includes such things as the air, water, climate, competitors, predators and prey. The ancestor of birds of course had no wings. It had forelimbs, because birds evolved from a reptile and a reptile has forelimbs. A feature evolves not because it is needed. A feature evolves because of chance. Luck has a lot to do with whether an animal or plant will evolve a useful feature that will help them survive. The rocks are filled with extinct organisms, which include organisms that may be unlucky enough to be killed during a mass extinction, and of course also organisms that simply could not adapt to a changing environment. Anybody can go to an auto parts store and buy a part he needs for his car, but organisms have no place to go to order body parts that they may need to survive the next change in their environment. Either they get a chance mutation that could turn one of their body parts into something better because of luck, or they don't. For example, some mammals were "lucky" enough to have evolved live birth, but some never had the luck, and they still lay eggs. Similarly, one fish was lucky enough to have evolved into an amphibian, while all the other fish species lived and died without ever being anything other than fish.

They were homo species, but not humans. They didn't quite have the foresight or intelligence to create civilizations yet. Actual humans are much more recent then 2 million years ago. I think progressing form living in caves to building civilizations WOULD take many thousands of years.

In court, creationism would be thrown out of Judge Judy's show as being ridiculous. In fact, this has gone to court (in relation to teaching it) and the court sides with science.

DNA research has dated the oldest common ancestor to all men at around 56,000 years and the oldest common ancestor to women older than that. Interestingly enough that would match with account of Noah in the Bible in that there was Noah and his sons and their 3 wifes. The 3 wives would give an older date as they are not related. Interesting how even science keeps coming up with answers like this but some still deny the Bible.

As for Neanderthals... interesting bipedal ape that have fallen into the Homo Sapien classification.

However it wasn't until the sudden apprearance of the Homo Sapien Sapien in the middle East that there was any signs of art, jewelry or other signs of inteligence that are higher than what you can find in a modern monkey.

So you are right the evidence is in the Bibles favour completely but some will always try to deny, fight, obscure or ridicule the truth.

Painted on cave walls perhaps? Or were you expecting Homo Neanderthalis to publish the weekly "Ungh" newspaper, with the spectacular headline "New invention 'Fire' promises better life for all"? Not all history was recorded, especially before writing was invented. I would think that this is obvious.

Edit:
I'm sure you think we're all morons. But the only alternative you have to offer on 2,000,000 years of human development (which was gradual, by the way), is a big whooping miracle 6,000 years ago. Well my friend the miracle is not in creating the world, but doing it in a fashion that makes it look 4.6 billion years old, complete with dinosaur fossils and starlight travelling towards us from millions of lightyears away.

Evolution is is a theory to help understand the changes in lifeforms over time. It does not have anything to do with the original creation or manifestation of these lifeforms. Evolution does not mean a belief in random events or chaos.

Most people who accept this theory would tell you that humans did not come from apes, but rather humans and many apes seem to have a common ancestor (different branches of the same family tree).

Much of that difference in DNA between humans and apes is the genetic coding for the brain and how the brain is used. Just because humans have languages and logical thought patterns which can be taught from generation to generation does not mean that basically humans are not animals. To believe this might be considered the height of arrogance.

If you look carefully at human behavior in a mob or group expecting an immediate danger (large predator or fire, for example) you might find much less difference between your behavior and that of many of the great apes.

The simplest cases of change in a lifeforms over time deal with microbes. Humans know through study that some species have changed enough to now be considered a different species. This is more than just changes in antibiotic response or nutritional needs. These changes are associated with changes in DNA coding.

Please understand that some people are so set in their own dogma that they cannot begin to change their belief system no matter what evidence is presented to them. They have no method to begin to understand how a flu virus can change from year to year. Evolution does not have all the answers, especially if one is interested in the original creation of life. Evolution can, on the other-hand, help understand how life can change.

This evidence would not favour the bible. Firstly, you claim one civilisation from 5000 years ago is the oldest known, yet you also state that the oldest civilisation in Europe is from 4600BC, which is 6607 years ago. Also, there is evidence of the Australian Aborigines from over 50000 years ago, far longer than the bible claims the world has existed for.
A genus of animals that physically resemble humans doesn't equate to civilisation, and deep down you must know that. Early humans were largely nomadic, they didn't form civilisations. They didn't understand agriculture, so they had to keep moving or they'd run out of food. And they certainly weren't capable of writing records.
I don't have a problem with people questioning evolution, but when people try to debase it with such poorly thought out arguments, which have clearly been invented only to discredit evolution, it makes me pretty sad. Why don't you do some actual research, rather than just searching for whatever evidence you can twist to match your current ideas? Walk your bridges before you burn them down.

You apparently assume that as soon as humans existed they had well developed civilizations. That is obviously false. Civilizations take a very long time to develop. Humans did not have the ability to write for most of their existence. That is a fairly recently developed skill. Perhaps an introductory anthropology textbook could help you achieve a more balanced and realistic outlook.

Perhaps you need to do a little more digging and not rely on one web page or one book. For every web page or book you find stating civilization is only so old, I can find you a thousand that prove other wise.

No one said that two million years ago there was civilization. the Homo species were nomads not settled people and stayed usually in family units like apes do today.

Also realize only one tenth of the land is actually settled in Egypt. Egypt has been a coherent political entity with a recorded history since about 3000 bc. That does not mean it was not a civilization it only means they first started to RECORD historic events then. At that time, China made it an important hub of international trade due to it's location on the Med.

The ancient Mayans are the second oldest known group of civilized people, the Atlantians are the first, dating back more than 10,000 years. These predictions stem from the Mayans and Egyptians. They are descendants of the legendary Atlantis, which is buried under the South Pole. The Atlanteans had a highly evolved astronomical knowledge and were able to exactly predict the previous catastrophe in 9792 BC. They built tens of thousands of Mandjits (kind of small boats) and escaped to South America and Egypt. The authors launch this world-shocking message after having cracked several star codes (which are over ten thousand years old). They discovered that the pyramids were built to warn us! They prove their points with extensive scientific and archeological investigations.....

The region of Mesopotamia has a recorded history of 5000 years ago and it isn't the oldest civilization known.

Just because the written language was not written does not mean there were not people living in groups. As we like to call civilized. Civilized only means more than one group or groups of people co-habitating for the common good.

Lucy (Australopithecus afarensis), whose remains were unearthed in Africa in 1974, lived 3.2 million years ago and is thought to have given rise to the Homo line that ended in modern humans.
Explain her bones. Just because the group she belonged to was not "Civilized."
At Taramsa, south-east of the Dendara Temple in the Upper Egyptian governorate of Qena, a team of excavators were absorbed in work when they came across a complete skeleton.

It is a very important discovery that will contribute much to our knowledge of human evolution in Egypt and elaborate on the physical development during different ages," said Sabri Abdel-Aziz, head of the Ancient Egyptian department of the Supreme Council of Antiquities (SCA). He explained that anthropologists have dated the remains as being between 30,000 and 33,000 years-old, meaning that the skeleton is from the modern Paleolithic age.
it was announced in January, a civilization has been uncovered that would have appeared just as ancient to the people who built the pyramids as the pyramids seem to us.

According to marine scientists in India, archaeological remains of this lost city have been discovered 36 metres (120 feet) underwater in the Gulf of Cambay off the western coast of India. And carbon dating says that they are 9,500 years old.
Written chineese was dated before 3500 bc which makes the known civilization 5500 years old.

The bible was a book written 350 ad. It is not nor meant to be a total history of man. It is the story of Jeasus. Jeasus did not start on this planet 2 million years before. Those that are small minded just cannot believe humans were here much longer without a written religion. Adam and Eve were not the FIRST two on this earth, it is the "Story of Adam". Be careful how you read your bible. It is the "Story of Adam" because his direct decendents play such a large part in the story of Jeasus. If Eve was the only woman, where did cain and Able's wives come from?
I am a christian and follow the Bible, however just because MAN wrote the bible not God does not mean I am so arogunt to believe because God did not write down the "History of the world" it didn't exist. Man, not God invented time. Do you know for sure the "Frist Day" was only 24 hours? Are we as humans think God goes by our time not his?

It is wonderful you are so curious. Are you so curious to investigate who actually wrote the bible and why? It was written around 350 ad. If that is the case why did they wait so long? The Hebrew Bible (with its older Greek additions) became known to Christians as "The Old Testament," and the latter was argued to have been completed, perfected, and to some extent superseded by the new writings. Faithful Jews refused to accept the view of their scriptures, of course. The process of redefinition was repeated when Islam pronounced the Bible incomplete and its existing texts flawed, and presented the Qur'an as the definitive religious scripture. Finally, during the Protestant reformation, many churches rejected the Greek additions to the Old Testament. Thus the word "Bible" has meant many things to many people. In order to avoid expressing a bias, in this reader the neutral terms "Hebrew Bible" and "Christian Scriptures" will be used respectively to label the orthodox Jewish Bible and the New Testament. It was written in 539 bc.

For 2-million years our ancestors lived a mostly nomadic lifestyle. There was no written language and no need to record anything as there was no state.

Writing largely grew for governments to keep records for tax collection, etc.

Civilisation is relatively recent as previously, when there were far less people in earth, if a mob came to your farmstead demanding a tribute or tax you would probably just up sticks and find a new plot of land and start up there.

Once resources became more scarce people had nowhere to go so were forced to pay the tribute.

In essence civilisations grow out of thugs demanding money for no work.

No question that human evolved over millions or years. The probable origin was from the sea in Africa. From there, he migrated over the earth. The earth itself is some 4.5 billion years old, man is very much a new comer. Evolution is taking place constantly. Darwin was correct in saying it was the survival of the fittest. FYI in China, the oldest human remains are over 100,000 years old. Lucy is much older and her ancestors even older. Man first crawled out of the sea a long time ago and has been evolving ever since.
