It's not meant to be a biography of Jesus. In any case, there are 66 books in the bible and only 4 of them deal with the life of Jesus. Even then, they only deal with his mission, and with some of the sayings attributed to him. The nativity stories can be discounted as they are just allegorical gloss added later - the oldest gospel, Mark, doesn't mention them at all.

Jesus is mentioned in HIstorical writings and personal writings of that day. HE did exist. An autobiography is not what was written. Maybe you need to do a little more reading on this matter. I would suggest a King James Version BIBLE. Have a great day.

The Bible is a biography. That is how there are several, like several histories of a king, several biographies of great persons. In it(the Bible) is the Gospel. That is, the words spoken by mylord Jesus Christ. Like any other biography, the Bible too mentions the author .

He Didn't
so the rest of this question is irrelevant,
The Bible should be seen as no more than fiction as to referring to it as Genealogy this is laughable the basis of Genealogy is Facts and never based on hearsay or assumed
like many historical reports the Bible has been subject to many transcriptions and as any one who does Genealogy will tell you these transcriptions are only as good and reliable as that person interpreted it,
Think ofthe mess made of the 1901 census
It should also be remembered that the majority of people able to write in those days were part of the religion they reported and as such had a vested interest
The bible is no biography but rather very old piece of pure Fiction

No, the stories of Adam and Eve,Noah's Ark,Daniel and the lions den,David and Goliath are all found in the Old Testament.
The New Testament has 4 books that tell about what Jesus did when he was on earth, but the rest are more like books of advice to Christians.
The Bible isn't a biography;its God's Word to His children

The bible has often been called God's love letter to man. There are many authoratitive sources such as Josephus who report much about Jesus. He did exist, the Bible is a record of God's dealings with man and the New Testament in particular is a terxtbook on how to live like Jesus and be more like him.

Yes He did exist. The new testament is basically a biography but remembered the Prophets was inspired by the Holy Spirit to write the things they did.

No Considering the Old Testament is before Jesus came. The bible does not just talk about Jesus. It's a collection of facts (despite what some doomed souls might tell you) and documented stories (which are true) top help guide you in your everyday life.

Nope, only the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) in the new testament are Jesus' biographies.

The rest of the Bible is a mixture of history, poetry, prophecy and instruction.

Not really.

The new testament isn't a very good biography if it covers his birth and the last two years of his life in great detail, but nothing in between.
