skipping is the best way -
Benefits of rope skipping exercise to losing weight
Another great exercise for burning calories is rope skipping. Once you learn how to jump rope properly with good coordination it will be possible to continue rope skipping for longer periods. Because rope jumping is a fairly energetic exercise lots of calories can be burned during a twenty minute session of skipping.
Rope skipping is generally considered as anaerobic type of exercise thus it is not a great exercise for burning fat directly, even though it does burn a great deal of energy. However rope jumping can be an ideal exercise for a great cardio workout to help develop higher fitness levels, and this will help develop a much better energy system allowing the body to burn fat more effectively when performing other less intense exercises. Effective weight loss doesn't always mean choosing exercise which burn fat directly, all exercises have their benefits and it is probably best to use various exercises when attempting to lose weight. This also helps maintain motivation levels because you'll never be doing the same exercises day in day out.

I agree that you should have something rather than nothing....watch out for those "lose wgt" shakes - they have a lot of calories. How about just a little bit of protein - eggs with toast, cottage cheese with toast or fruit - I think that would be more beneficial than a shake - or even better if u have time, make your own shake. Fruits, yogurt, milk, ice/water or juice...Also step your work out up a bit - hot yoga also will help melt fat off I highly recommend :)
Hope this helps and good luck.

Definitely have the shake (or a breakfast bar) to get your metabolism going. Also, try to drink 64 oz. water throughout the day and break up your healthy meals to 5 small meals versus breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eat lots of protein (chicken, fish, etc).If you stick to this, you should be able to lose the 10 pounds in about 3 weeks.
Hope this helps. :-)

Digestion in smaller portions encourages calorie burning. Eat every few hours but not late at night.

Definitely eat something for breakfast - cereal, shake, toast with peanut butter, oatmeal, etc. You need something to get yourself going for the day!
