How do i get over an ex?
I love this man with all my heart. He was my bestfriend before we started dating.
We had a perfect relationship no fighting or nothing.
He ended the relationship cuz he said that he didnt want a gf or a relationship at that time.
Well we decided to be fwb but now he said to me last nite that he never wants to get married or have kids or have a gf again.
He says he cares alot about me to no end but hes not heads over heel in love with me.
I need to walk away but i dont know how. I have know this guy for 7 years and dating him for 3 months.

It hurts, I understand, but remember you have a life to live and to its fullest. Do not accept half what you want when you can get the whole thing elsewhere. The first thing you need to do is grieve over it but not endlessly until you feel that you have cried over it. Secondly, accept that it cannot continue on your terms (as you know what you want in a relationship). Do not get into denial and don't gloat over it too. Remember this is not the only man in life and out there could be better guys you are yet to meet. A case of a blessing in life. I therefore ask you not to hide yourself from him but accept that you can still be friends and live your lives separately. Sorry but its life!

I feel like the other end of this, all this relationship stuff is so complicated. All I can say is you should be happy this is happening afer three months and not 10 years, cos then you´re saying goodbye to a big chunk of your life, like chopping off a body part. You need to get busy with things, especially other people, to stop you mulling over the situation.

There is no science on "how to walk away" you just have to do it....it will probably be one of the toughest decisions you make cause you don't really want to walk away from love but you have to realize that its whats best for you......at least you have been upfront and honest with each other about your feelings....don't put yourself through hell waiting for things to change cause you will end up wasting a lot of time and life when you could be moving on

Did you really say you dated him for three months and then he ended the relationship just like that. Hmm there is something wrong. but you will get over him just cry your eyes out and if you have some good friends who will be with you through thick or thin then you will definately get over him or just date someone else while you are just sitting there feeling sorry for yourself.
