Euthanasia is one of the most loving things you can do for an animal who is suffering or can no longer enjoy a good quality of life.

Ronnie, you like to ask a question and sit back to be entertained--don't you?
If you in fact have a dog in this condition, it is your responsibility to seek medical attention for him. An animal with legs, but without feet can adapt. I know someone who once had a goat with no hind feet. It lived for several years and had a high quality of life.
If the dog doesn't bark, maybe he has nothing to say. I've known several dogs who just don't bark much if at all, others seem to never stop.
If the dog isn't eating anything, it will eventually shut down. If it is an old dog, it may have bad teeth and need canned food. I have a rescue beagle like this. She is happy and healthy, just needs canned food.
Too many people get pets and when things look rough, put them to sleep in an act of "humanity" or selfishness. Would you put a family member to sleep or help him/her improve his/her quality of life???
Do you even have a dog or is the mangled dog a metaphor for your inner self???
Good luck with whatever it is you hope to find through these questions. And Best Wishes for the dog whether he is a literal or a metaphoric being.

Few weeks ago i saw in a tv program that a guy whose cat has lost two hind legs, he made a self made rollers tide on the cat so it moves the front leg the back just rolls automaticallly. It needs some skills to build that thing.
Considering other complications that your dog has, have u seen the vet? and I hope it can still be solved with a second opinion vet. Mercy killing should the last solution after trying every possible thing you can think of and how bad the situation is. Take ur dog to a few vets if possible.

I agree with Grahamma - what the heck is wrong with you? Does crap follow you like the black plague, or do you make this stuff up?
Anyway, of course, put your dog down to end the suffering. This is why I think you're full of it...I assume you had to take it to a vet. Any good vet would request permission to put it down and tell you it's best for the dog because of its condition.

Take your dog to the vet!
The vet can help you decide wether there are options that will allow him some semblance of a normal life, or wether he should be euthanized, but don't just take him in the back yard and shoot him or something.
Personally if my dog were that bad off I would strongly consider euthanization, but a good vet would be able to suggest lots of things to help him move around and eat.

mercy killing is inhumane if you plan on doing it yourself, that is what vets are for to euthanize the dog in the right humane way. To end their suffering easier.
why do u like posting questions to get rises out of people?\
i looked at ur questions and you are a troll.

I don't find your jest very humorous. I have a boxer with terminal cancer and very soon we will have to put her down. It is much more humane than allowing her to suffer. Thousands of families face this every day-having to end the suffering of a beloved pet, kids having to say goodbye to a dog that his been a part of their life for their whole life.
Your sense of humor is not appreciated.

Do what's kindest for your dog. Don't keep him alive through that suffering for your own needs.
Put him to sleep. And stand with him when they do it.

My but you have a unusual amount of drama in your life right now don't you? Or DO you?
For a dog, mercy killing is fine, in my humble opinion.
I can't wait for your next heart-wrenching question!!!
For those of you who think I'm being insensitive, read his other questions!

I have looked through the other answers, and most of them are really cruel! About a month ago, I had to have my beloved cat of 14 years sent to Heaven. It crushed me. Now I sleep with his container of ashes in my bed, because it's where he usually slept. The vet told me he was in pain. It killed me to hear that. In shock, I said "Okay." He went very peacefully. There's nothing, absolutely NOTHING wrong with taking care of your dog! I'm so sorry!
