Hey Iamdeyb,

Actually the name is older than that according to Swyrich.com see below for that. But on the other note, having the same surname, sorry not me. When people ask that question, in the Genealogy section - my assumption is that you want to discuss the surname with someone that shares your interest, so, I do a look up for places, and give it to you in the references below.
