Honestly you are right, RCC is the Beast. I also researched that and all the evidence points to Catholics. I know many people may get offended but it is the truth. This is not a conclusion that I have reached on my own but evidence that is written in the Bible as well, the church which many people are in and they don't know their church is false, the only church which claims to forgive the sins of people, the church which prays to Mary Mother of Jesus. As the Bible says, "know the truth and the truth shall set you free", don't get offended cause you belong to that group, rather research and find the truth.......if you will accept it.

The beast was the emperor nero. Why would St. John a bishop in the Catholic church, describe his church, the church that jesus founded, the kingdom of god on earth as the beaset. The beast, nero, was systemaically attacking the catholic church, feeding us to the lions remember etc.? The book of the apocholypse was written using traditional hebrew sybolism to give the young catholic church hope through the roman persecution. it was written using this symbolic language so that only fellow christians, mosty hebrews at this time courd understand it, while the gentlies romans could not. There are a couple of items that can be gernalized tyo today for example the triupmh of blesed mother and holy nmother church in all things as Jesus prophseied. But the book of the apaocolyupse is not about the end of the world. The beast the antichrist was defeated, as all are. Where do you peole get thsi stuff? The bible has abosultly no meang whatsever outside the context of the catholic church. You simply cannot understand it reading it on your own, or by some being tuiahgt by some non-cahtolic fundie pastor. you are th blind leading the bilind and both will fal into a pit. It is like the following. Be sure to show this to your pastor please. Go get a copy of the marine corp manual, take it home study it. Don't forget to rip out the five chapters that contradict what you are doing. Get other people together to study it, implement it in your life, get the people who you study it with to implement it in there lives. Oh, don’t forget to get your official marine corps concordance, so you can look up words and phrases like “simper fi”, Iwo Jima, Helmet, Grenade, and Honor, etc. Now does this make you guys marines -- no. You are missing pretty much everything that it means to be a marine. you haven't had the training that they have done for years you don't have the history -- the understanding of what it means to be a marine, you don't have the traditons -- the rituals that they have been doing for years. Nor do you have the true meaning of what the manual says. Because outside of the marine corp, the manual is MEANINGLESS. People who belong to bible studying fellowships who believe in the doctrine of solely scripture scripture first scripture only sola scriptura are no more Christians than are the people who got together to study the marine manual are marines. Now that you and your friends have studied the marine corp manual. Go out in front of a marine corp recuting station and as people walk in hand them a tract from the manual and get them to come join you. Go to a marine corp camp and do the same thing see if they will join you marine corp manual studying fellowship. But don't call yourselves that. Call yourselves, "marines". Go to the verterns day parade and hand out tracts from the manul there, and tell them to come to your marine barracks. Let people know that you have the way that all they have to do is study the manual with you and they too can be marines. Then just like you've done with us with this question. Go up to a real marine tell them what you are doing, and ask them what is wrong with it?

It would be interesting if the Roman Catholic Church were the beast... considering it was the first form of Christianity to be practiced and all other forms of Christianity were born of Catholicism. That would make all forms of Christianity the beast, and that wouldn't make sense at all.

First came the Roman Catholics
Then there was a schism and the Eastern Orthodox were created. This didn't happen until the 11th century.
Then there was another schism and the Protestants were created, which didn't happen until the 16th century.
Then even among the Protestants there are a multitude of denominations, which of course happened after the 16th century.

My point is that all of these forms of Christianity were born out of the original form of Christianity, centuries after Christ had already died. One could argue that Catholicism is the purest form of Christianity because it was the one practiced soonest after Christ's death and resurrection. The other ones didn't come around until much later. So it would be odd if the faith that started right after Christ's death was the beast.

The other way of looking at it is that the founders of all the other Christian faiths took their cues from Catholicism. Yes they were formed because of what the founders didn't like about Catholicism, but then it also stands to reason that they kept what parts of Catholicism suited them. So to call the Roman Catholic Church the beast is to also call all the other Christian denominations the beast because they all hold a kernel of the original church within them.

As for my own personal beliefs all forms of Christianity are just fine. One is no better than the other. The problem occurs when different denominations forget that we all agree on the same basic idea. This isn't an "us versus them" thing. It's people who make it an "us versus them" thing, not God.

P.S. I would suggest that all who still believe that Roman Catholics believe in idol worship take the time to learn a bit more about the faith, because that is not true. I would also suggest that all who believe that the Roman Catholics interweave Pagan holidays into their practices take a look at their own denominations first. This is part of the "taking a kernel from Catholicism" I am talking about. Catholicism placed the celebration of certain events in keeping with some Pagan holidays in order to convert more people. Hence, for example, Jesus' birthday being celebrated during December even though that is not when He was born. Notice that all the other Christian religions still celebrate Jesus' birthday in December. That is a tradition based on a Pagan holiday and non-Catholics had an opportunity to change that practice when breaking from the Roman Catholic Church and chose not to.

The Woman that sits on the beast drunken with the blood of the saints represents the Catholic Church. The beast which she rides upon represents the devil. As far as the other churches...starting from the Lutheran church, Martin Luther's movement was to come out of the Catholic church because he realized all the false doctrines and evilness of the church. So from there on out, it has been a betterment of God's people towards truth and a closerness with the real, true GOD. We are still learning of God. There is so much more to discover. Just like science and technology.

I'd get a better idea of what exactly their practices mean before decrying them from an outsider's point of view. Saints and Mary aren't used as substitutes, nor are idols worshipped. There is a difference, though it may not appear so on the surface.

ETA: I'm answering. The problem is that you've set impossible parameters. The answers *do* lie in dogma, just as in the answers to why any religion does what it does do.

The word "beast" is in Revelation 44 times. Clearly the Roman church is not all of these! Some are worse than others. I believe it is true that anything that adds to the Scriptures is condemned in Scripture. It seems abundantly clear to me that "churchianity" includes sufficient paganism to ensure its final destination is the "lake of fire". Not only is "the beast" there, but also the "false prophet" (anything that makes a lie). I have withdrawn from all "organized religion" for I have not found one which is faithful to Scripture. I understand Scripture to be "The Word" which will judge us in the end. (Another name for the Messiah, who was The Word made flesh). Keep studying (Scripture) to show thyself approved. The Spirit of the Almighty has been promised to guide us into all truth.

No, your information is incorrect. The things you have been reading are in error.

Please do some research. You will find that you are incorrect on nearly all of the points of your post.

We do not use anyone as a substitute to praying to Jesus. catholics pray to God the Father and Son as well as praying to the saints to ask them to pray for us.

FANTASTIC question! Yes, I believe without doubt that the Roman Catholic Church is the culprit you are referring to. I loved all your knowledge on the worshiping of Mary as a way to get to Jesus (unbelievable) *Why would anyone need to pray to Mary in order for her to ask Jesus anything for us??? When Jesus has told us that He (and He alone) is our only Salvation!!! And that He waits for us to ask for HIM to come into our lives. A very interesting item to note is that Mary is not held with any esteem in the time that Jesus walked this earth. Even when she asked the disciples to tell Jesus that she was outside wanting to speak to Him, Jesus didn't rush out to receive her. Instead He continued teaching HIS Father's message. Not to say that she didn't have a very important position in executing the LORD's will to bring His son into human form, but there isn't anything in ANY scripture that tells us to bow down, kneel in reference or pray to her for anything!!! The Pope is another Satan inspired concoction that man has embraced and will be punished for if we don't repent and do away with all things that go against God! And if anyone wants to know what those things are its' simple first, read the Bible for yourself, it's the only way to understanding God's true character and HIS desires for us. A few wonderful places to get understanding into the Catholic infiltration into the true Christian church are the websites below very worth checking into.

The fact is your name can be given a 666 equivalent. You have made sweeping statements and conclusions without any factual basis. Anyone can make up stories. The question is where is your evidence?

As a CAtholic, I am highly offended by your accusation. I suggest you do some real research before you condemn what you don't know. Try a few Catholic websites. I have no idea where you got your information, but it's very wrong.
