I hear this a lot from Catholics that as a Protestant I dont have the fullness of faith but then exactly what that means is not really clear
do you mean the Catholic tradition, rituals, the Mass - what do you mean when you say or hear fullness of faith

Yes, when Catholics refer to the "fullness of faith", we are referring to the fact that there are SEVEN sacraments, not just 2 or 3. There are 73 books in the Bible, not 66. We have the communion of saints - those in Heaven and Purgatory - who are part of the faith community, not just those in this life.

I think the Catholics have a different definition for "fullness of faith" than we do.

I see it as the end result of faith. The best I can explain is with a simple example: Let's say you are believing for a better job. You're a new Christian, and God has impressed upon your heart to leave where you are and get better employment. So you pray for it every day. You know you can't leave your present job, which is intolerable, until you have another one - that's just not fair to the wife and kids. So you pray every day that God will help you.

Months go by and nothing happens. You stick with it, and every day ask God what you can do to help make this change. Then one day an old school friend comes along and says "hey, you'd be great at ABCwidgets, why don't you apply?" and you do and suddenly you have a new job making twice as much in a nicer environment.

Now your faith is bigger, and you step out a little further on the waters of life and believe for something bigger in your life. You have reached the fullness of faith - your faith now has backbone for you because you know that you believed and God made it happen.

So you "hear" this a lot from Catholics. Try to find the spelling.
If it is faith in self, it is F U L L N E S S of faith and if you keep faith in others it is F O O L N E S S of faith.
