Do you take her for walks? You must take her for walks until she is finished doing her business. At least 3 times a day.
You know the story you tell is sad-because so many dogs that suffer from neglect go to the pound and then are put to sleep.
If you put some effort into this friendship that you started it might have a happy ending.
I would postpone having children for a while.

My dogs are like this, sadly my sister and mom are so soft with them and let them sleep on the couch and beds. When they realise they are allowed all of the 'priority' areas of the house, they won't accept or know any less, my jack russell is 1 in march and still can't be trusted to be out of the crate when we go out, or even downstairs when I take a shower etc. We are getting dog training, maybe she needs it to.

She's mad at you. She used to sleep in the room with you, and now shes not the apha female anymore thats her way of getting back at you.
Let her sleep near you, like in the bathroom or something, she might calm down.

The pooing is just a worsening of the chewing.
She's likely telling you you're not spending enough time with her...you're just in and out of the house.
Take her for some long walks...WHere she POOPS !!! and this will stop.
This dog is your responsibility, She probably didn't change- you did. Take care of your dog.

you trained her to sleep in your bedroom and now she is not allowed to sleep there. she is upset that you changed the room that she is use to. she is showing you that she is upset. trying allowing her to sleep in your bedroom again. hopefully she will stop making a mess in your bedroom.

HI
Sounds like she needs to be crated, she is upset about something that has disrupted her life and crating is the best thing to do for her they are cheaper at Walmart. Get the wire one.
