me and my 2 friends are going to Turkey for 2 weeks through Hays travel, we have already booked the holiday but we have just come to realise that one of my philipino friends have to have a visa but we dont know how to get one without going to london this is not very good for us however as we do not live very close to london, does anyone know how to help us, the holiday is on the 3rd of August, thanx

Speak to your travel agent. Some travel agencies have a service where they will get the visa for your friend - you give them the relevant papers and passport, and they will go to the embassy for you.

never heard of that, all i know is you have to pay £10 sterling at the airport to enter the country, and all you needed were passports and tickets and that was travelling from the uk
