NOOOOOo....there is no absolute way to tell unless you pull it off right???? Wrong....not only do people clip down wigs...or bobby pin them down....now you can glue them on to your head......and if you gave it a get tug...you might get sued.....I'm talkin about lace front wigs...that ladies wear (Tyra Banks' hair) that is glued right above the hair line and in the back...if you tug...you might hurt somebody!

It can be difficult if the person is wearing a good wig. Today you can buy wigs made from human hair as well as synthetic, so feeling it isn't a good way to judge. Also, monofilament wigs look so natural, you can even part your hair or pull it back away from your face and still look like you have a normal, natural hairline. And, some wiglets or hairpieces are now made so that a person can pull pieces of their own hair through them, making it almost undetectable. Giving someones hair a good tug is cruel though. Hair loss is such a sensitive issue, especially if it's a woman. If it is a wig, and it were to be pulled off, that could really ruin someones day!

you should be able to tell by touching the hair. if its a wig it will obviously feel fake.
