Both of them are good, but I prefer Turbo Tax.

Turbo Tax is the best because it not only basically does all your work for you but it is reliable and so much better on so many levels. Never trust companies like H & R Block, Jackson Hewitt or any tax preparation software and company that promises your any refund anticipation loans. Because that is what they are: LOANS.

I cannot say that I'm familiar with Tax Cut, but Turbo Tax carries your previous year's information allowing your tax preparation so much easier.

If you would like, you can even file for free at the IRS website. They also offer sites all around the country that help you prepare your tax returns.

Turbo Tax has been doing this for a long time and they own two other tax software brands so they are pretty good. I would suggest the professional rather than the basic. Once you select the brand you will want to stick with that every year because it is easier to carry stuff from one year to the next. but y9u must remember that any software is only as good as the operator.

I didn't want to download any software and install anything on my computer. So I went to www.expresstaxrefund.com to file my taxes. Took me about 10 minutes and I am already just waiting for my refund transfer to go through. No complains here
