i need help...fast....
my hair is a very short style strawberry blonde and a hairdressers came to my house(friend too) to colour it brown, but its come out burgandy and its not happening at all. I want my own hair back and fast. she said she will come around this evening and put a dark brown on it, but will my hair fall out........help!!!!

if you colour your hair a darker shade it will not fall out, or do too much damage (just a little).
If you was to strip your hair and lighten it again immediatly it probably would fall out...

I am a Hairdresser (I now work in a office) and the only way to get your natural colour back will be to use a bleach based colour stripper which is like a shampoo based product (get it done at a salon because it could take up to 3+ applications before it works) and check to see if you can have it done but there is no guarantee it will work as I can't see your hair colour myself I can't guarantee it can or will work it may only lift 1-2 shades lighter than the colour it is now. Your hair will not fall out if you dye it again so soon after the last time. You have strawberry blond hair so you naturally have a red tone to your hair and when you put a brown over your hair you can still show a red tone in a certain light and putting another colour over it now may not make a diffrence. The only other way to get you natural hair colour back is to grow it out.

Hello, I'm a hairdresser.. to be honest to get a good cover over Burgundy you will have to go quite dark.. best advice would be to break up the colour she has put on by highlighting through a cap.. remove the bleach b4 it turns to blonde, trying to match your original colour, this will break up the dyed hair colour and add some cool looking highlights.. use a good quality conditioner to keep the shine and health..

yes you dan dye it again it wont fall out my girlfreind waned pink foils in her hair and when it got washed out all of her hair was pink she dye it 3 times in two days and her hair is fine why dont you but a bleach blonde on it then go for a darker blonde then you will get your colour back to how you want it good luck

Umm... do not let her put the dark brown in. Its already bad enough isn't it? Ask her if she has a special shampoo that will help you get rid of the color. Hope everything works out between you and your hair!

no it won't fall out if you colour it darker but then just keep it well condistioned and if you still do not like it in afew weeks go to the hair dressers and get some high lights to lighten it up a bit

To be honest, I would go to a hairdressers and have it re-done properly or at least get some professional advice. No offence to your friend.

no itll be fine dark colours dont harm your hair the majority of them actually nourish it. dont worry about it the colour she puts over the top will cover the burgundy. Good luck

go to a hairdressers and get it dyed back to your original colour. you cant wash it out, so if you want to change the colour you have to dye it. otherwise wait for it to fade.
