Yummy, just thaw a butter stick until its soft, I dont recommend heating it now because it will change the flavor and you'll double cook the butter. The garlic should be mashed not minced and you will add just a tad of olive oil. Mix the garlic and oil with the butter and now you can heat it just until it starts to melt because the heat still in it will do the rest. You can add parsley or italian seasonings to the mix for a variation. You can use this for a family dinner if you serve out dinner rolls and if you want to taste something out of this world....in home made hamburguers. Just chill the butter until its hardened. Form a ball with the hamburguer meat and push your thumb down in the center. Cut out a piece of the butter (less than a tablespoon) and then patch the meat over it. Make the patty so the butter stays in the middle of it. Ohh baby Grill it outside!!!!! or if you preffer use your Foreman Grill.

From Christine at ALL RECIPES.com
INGREDIENTS
1/3 cup butter
1 clove crushed garlic
1/4 tablespoon dried basil
2 teaspoons dried oregano
DIRECTIONS
In a small saucepan melt butter, add garlic and saute until cooked. Add dried oregano and dried basil and stir until heated through.
Serve warm.

You can also simply mix garlic power into melted butter for an easy version if you don't have fresh garlic around. Add what spice you like (I like a mixture of Italian herbs). Enjoy!

Sure.......use fresh garlic....before peeling....take the individual cloves and smash them using the side of your knife....remove the peel.....chop and mix with melted butter.....if mixture begins to cool......just warm on stovetop on very low temp until warm....
smash the garlic first releases a sweetness in the garlic you don't get just by peeling and chopping......It really can make the difference in the flavor of your garlic
You can also spread this on thick slices of french bread, top with mozzarella or provolone cheese and toast in oven.....I could eat 6 pieces and nothing else!!!!

try using clarified butter and drop in sliced or whole cloves and poach the garlic in the butter until the garlic browns. You will have a garlic infused butter for dipping.
