Strong Cheddar is the best, but almost all cheeses are good. I probably eat a pound a week. Second one is Danish Blue, followed by Stilton (the stuff I bought last week in the Co-op was too salty) and I would eat some of French cheeses if they were available. Le Mermont (spelling?) is a good one.
The only ones that are much inferior are mild Cheddar, Edam and Gouda, but even these can be eaten at a pinch. I am not all that keen on Mozzarella. Some of the English cheese in British supermarkets are not a patch on how good they were thirty years ago. All cheeses are over-salty nowadays. Mycella used to be sold as a superior type of Danish Blue.

I'm very boring when it comes to cheese because I like mild white cheddar. On occasions I'll quaff a bit of Red Leicester or Wensleydale, and Edam isn't bad. Very rarely I'll go for a creamy blue cheese, but nearly always it's the mild cheddar for me.

I like almost all cheese....
Brie, camembert, gruyere, jarlsburg, old cheddar, chevre, parmesan....I always have at least 3 of these in the house!
I'm not a big fan of bleu, but I do like it now and then spread thin on a graham cracker. (weird, I know, but woth a try!)

I like an Indian Cheese but I can't remember the name. It comes in a can and it tastes pretty far out. It was pretty good when I took slices of hit in a hot Puree with tomato slices and raw onion slices.Oh, it was AMUL CHEESE. Now I remember, see what years of abuse can do to your brain cells?

I like Brie but don't like the edges of it. Also like Wensleydale with Cranberries and a really strong chedder with a nice glass of red wine...........
