Two Stroke Diesels are also used to power some large merchant vessels (container ships, oil tankers, bulk carriers...)Typically they turn between 70 and 120 rpm. These are also called slow speed diesels.
As others mentioned, two stroke engines are also used to power trains.
There are many power plants using large industrial two stroke engines to generate electricity.
Many outboard motors are two stroke (gasoline) engines.
Mopeds, dirt bikes and other small performance engines are often two stroke as well.
Wikipedia has a good page discussing the differences between a two and a four stroke engine, and lists many of the applications appropriate for a two stroke engine. Towards the bottom half of the page there is a discussion about diesel two strokes specifically.

two stroke diesel engines are used in scootys, mopeds, racing bikes,.
because they perform two operations simultaneously i.e.suction & compression when piston moves downward i.e.from T.D.C.(top dead centre) to B.D.C(bottom dead centre) & expansion & exhaust at a same time.
two stroke engines gives more speed & good pick up & poor average
