I have a large tattoo on each of my lower legs, and I want to get them waxed because I'm sick of shaving! Does anyone know if waxing will damage a tattoo?

As long is the tattoo is fully healed you shouldn't have an issues.
I wax my legs and both of them have tattoos and I've seen no damage to the tattoo and its been two years for the oldest tattoo and about 4 months for the newer ones.

It can only be damaging if the tattoo is not completely healed. But if the tattoos on your legs have been healed more than a few months then you should be fine.

The tattoo is permanent it won't damage your tattoo.

If the tattoo has been there a while it should be okay. Its under the skin.

it may damage new tatts but the healed ones are under the skin so they should be fine all your doing is removing hair
