-Buy compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFL). You can buy them online from the Energy Federation Web site. They use 75% less energy than regular bulbs.
-Unplug appliances when you're not using them.
-Buy recycled paper.
-Recycle your trash.
-Hang your clothes to dry instead of using the dryer whenever possible.
-Plant trees.
-Avoid buying heavily packaged products.
-Use mass transportation or walk or bike. (Try to drive less.)
-Take fewer airline trips.
-If you can, buy a hybrid car.
-Encourage others to do all of the above.

Anyway it's too late, we can't do anything, the only way to maintain is to protect all living things other than human including all kind of plants, and off course must stop extracting precious things from globe..
