I assume you mean beef stroganoff? Well, my recipe is easy, and everyone likes it - it serves 6. You'll need

1 cup sliced mushrooms
1 onion finely chopped
500g thin sliced beef (use a good tender cut)
1 tub sour cream
1/4 cup water
2 beef stock cubes
2 tablespoons tomato paste
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon cornflour
1 tablespoon butter

Melt the butter in your hot pan. Throw in the beef and onions and brown it very quickly (don't let it cook right through or it will go tough).
Add the cornflour to the sour cream and mix it into it then tip it into the pan. Add the tomato paste, crumbled stock cubes and water (or you can use 1/4 cup ready made beef stock instead of the water and cubes if you like)
Add the mushrooms and heat through.
Serve with a nice flat pasta and green vegetables.

Here is a DEEEElicious recipe

1 1/4 pound fillet mignon or fillet of beef -- sliced
2 tablespoons butter
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/4 pound mushrooms -- sliced
1 1/2 tablespoon shallots or green onions -- minced
1 medium onions, to taste - optional -- sliced
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 cup sweet sherry
1 can beef broth
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup sour cream

Directions:

Slice meat thin, about 2"x2" (it is easiest to slice real thin by partially freezing the meat first) - be sure ALL fat is trimmed off. Heat 1 Tbsp. of butter and 1/2 Tbsp. oil in a large frying pan. Saute the mushrooms over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Add the onions and/or shallots, saute 2 minutes more. . .remove ALL from skillet.

Heat remaining butter and oil, until it bubbles, then add the meat and brown. Remove the browned meat from the pan. Put the flour in the pan and mix in with the oil in the pan until well blended. Gradually add the sherry and the beef broth, being sure the mixture is SMOOTH. Cook over high heat and turn to medium-high and cook down 1/2.

Add meat and season (to taste) and add the mushrooms/onions. Cook over medium-low heat about 5 minutes, stirring frequently. JUST BEFORE serving stir in sour cream. DO NOT ALLOW TO COME TO A BOIL- it will curdle. Serve over noodles.

The recipe that my family likes is:
Brown a pound of ground sirloin with a slice of chopped onion.
Add 1 ten ounce can of mushroom soup, 1/4 cup water, and a slice of bread broken into pieces.
Simmer this while you cook noodles to serve it on.
Stir in 1/2 cup sour cream and keep over low heat until the noodles are ready.

As mentioned, its Stroganoff.
Here is a very good recipe for it.
Tenderloin strips
sliced onions (half rings)
sliced bell pepper (julienne)
sliced pickles, the sweet and sour ones (julienne)
Heavy cream
Demi glace
Vodka
Paprika powder
Salt
Pepper
Oil
Heat the oil and fry the tenderloin strips shortly. put em in a dish.
put some vodka in the pan and with a wooden spoon scratch it out and put it over the meet. season the meet with salt and pepper. add some more oil and fry the bell peppers and onions golden brown. pour the paprika powder over it. (don't be shy on that) fry it shortly and then pour a shot of vodka into the hot pan. let it burn. add some heavy cream and demi glace (about 1.5 :1). let it simmer for two minutes. add the sliced pickles and the meet and turn of the heat. serve with noodles or rice.
