Why should you move?
I dont believed that the Police could not find evidence to arrest her.
I suggest that you have a good talk with her and informed that you will not hesitate to get her arrested and send her to jail. Go to where she is staying and get your stuff back. Do not give in to her plead of any kind as this is a felony, sister or no sister.
Good Luck

I would say you have to do a cost analysis. If you are living in a flat/apartment...do you have renters insurance on stolen items? If not definately look into purchasing this.
Secondly- If you own- buying a home security system would be beneficial- b/c if she can break in so can randoms.
But if it is more cost effective for you to just get another place to live - then do it. you will have more piece of mind and that is what your real goal is.
Good Luck.

I'm with you. My youngest Brother is just like that. Ans he just turned 45. Family should be held in a Special Part of your lIfe. I suggest that you move out. And contact your Sister. Talk to her about why you left. You may wake her up to what she's doin'. Look into her actions, as coming from a Drug Addiction.(?) If so, get her help from that angle. God Bless You!

TRY TO GET AN ALARM FITTED if you can afford one it is cheaper than moving have you had the security officer to check your windows and doors they can fit locks on windows and put dead locks on your doors in our area you can have all this done check your area for a safety zone this is where you will be able to check it out or your local police should be able to tell you about this or go to your nearest B AND Q BUY WINDOW LOCKS

Move and insure your stuff. Its possible that your sister is feeding a drug addictionTha is why there are so many house thefts. You need to talk to her as a family member stealing off another family member is not normal.Blood is thicker than water. Or she may have another problem such as gambling.

no your not letting her win if you move at all.
shes robbing you as she must have a serious addiction to pay for it.
if you move away you've won because she can no longer break into your house to stay nore rob your things, so she'll be a bit lost without you. and it sounds like she needs your house to stay in when your away because she has no where else to go.
dont worry, moving is prob the best thing in this situation as shes dragging you down, god knows if shes disturbed your neighbours. moving is the best thing, and you'll have won

Stay in your home get a home security monitoring system with a cam or you can call adt and have a home security alarm put in. Go to the court and get a restraining order also and tell her you never want her to come over again. Good Luck.

you shouldnt have to move because of what someone else does
make sure you collect as much evidence as possible (such as taping her and there should be fingerprints too) and then go back to the police and explain the situation again. if they still dont listen then go to another police office and continue doing this untill you find someone who listens because this is completely out of order and if you dont stop it now, then who knows what else shes going to do

I know what i would do!
Let her know that you are going away for a couple of days (when you're not) - wait for her to break in - and then defend your property by beating the poop out of her - you are within your rights to use reasonable force! Then get the cow arrested and charged

Keep calling the cops they will get tired of hearing from you and talk to her which might scare her....set up a video camera or just let her think you have her on tape or get an alarm....
