etc of the puppy that bugs her as this is done by me every evening. Its the time she spends alone with the pup at home after my daughter goes to school and I leave for office. . The pup keeps barking and following her all around the house. The breed is a pomeranian and it was bought from a vet and is quite healthy (2 months old) and very sweet. My daughter also wants to keep playing with it all the time (but in the bargain her studies should not get neglected which is also the reason my wife is upset). So right now the pup's future in our home seems uncertain?? So how do I convince her?

It will take time. Buy a little portable fence from petsmart/Co and make a circle with it. Put your little darling in there for some time when she needs to let everyone alone. Include some toys and water bowl. It is very open so she still feels like she's part of everything, but not following on your wifes heels and not interupting homework time. The reward for homework is play time with the puppy. Not play time first.
all will work out fine with a little containment.

Very best of luck.

The reason that she follows your wife is she is domenent over her. She thinks that your wife is part of her pack and doesn't want her going anywhere without permission.

Take her to a training school asap and have your wife learn dominence over the dog.

Also, if your wife was in on it, she should know that it would be a lot of work and accept the responsibility she took on.
