They are just doing what nature intended them to do. If you kill the ants and then eat them then you are also getting protein and will save a couple dollers on groceries plus you are contributing to the circle of life which we are all apart of an I dont know if morals really have anything to do with it. Nature means we eat other animals/insects etc as a way of recycling what the world has a supply of. If we did not kill eat other animals plants that are living or other biotic life forms the cycle of life would cease to exist and we would all die..so yes those animals are there for us to use as our dying bodies are theres to use so dont worry they get theres.

Life is a constant cycle of creation and destruction, that's the way things are, the key is to make sure those things are balanced. You have to kill the ants in order to maintain balance in your own life and as somebody has already observed they would not think twice about killing you. If you went outside and deliberately stamped on them, that would be different.

No. first of all, what's ethics and morality? And is it subjective or purpose? it incredibly is morally incorrect to you, yet to no longer me. Animals consume animals. Is that misguided? could desire to we be policing the international, preventing Lions from eating elephants, or foxes from eating rabbits? What approximately spiders from eating flies? What makes a man or woman so no longer worth of a carnivoric meal, somewhat than an alligator? I consume meat because of the fact i'm an omnivore. human beings ARE OMNIVORES. it incredibly is medically and scientifically shown that for the well being and wellness of a man or woman, a nutrients plan of meat could desire to be eaten, alongside with for sure culmination, nuts and vegetables. So could desire to I starve myself for the sake of...of what? A made up morality, for people who watched too plenty disney as a infant and have faith animals are truly wakeful beings? different than Dolphins or some monkeys, animals have not have been given any sign, nor any layout of their brains for the information. So why does that cause them to greater significant, in the event that they simply stay off one hundred% instincts? It isn't clever. So consequently, No, it incredibly isn't any longer incorrect to kill nor consume animals. no longer ethically nor morally.

What is 'wrong' is the automatic denial of other creature's right to live. This does not mean that killing ants is always wrong, per se. Accomodating others to the point of denying ourselves is not a solution either.
More simply, one does not hope to make decisions concerning others, especially those in an inferior position, lightly. If one is meticulous in keeping one's house, but the problem is because of a hole in the foundation, continuing to kill the ants while ignoring the foundation makes one wrong in killing them, simply because one doesn't have to kill the ants if one does this other project.
Where killing other 'creatures' is wrong is when it is done as a convienence to ourselves. It is easier to kill the ants rather than fix the problem of how they are getting in. It is easier to kill the ants rather than fix the problem of food lying around carelessly, or garbage not taken out. It is easier to kill the ants rather than to ensure that they are not in a position by which I have to kill them. If I can do something other than killing to stop their behavior or presence, and I choose to kill because it is easier, then it is wrong.

Your question reminds me of the kleenex commercial with the monk who went through making sure everything was zen and then killed all his own germs with a sneeze. You have one of two choices here. To keep your conscience clear, just keep up with the dishes and avoid the ant fiasco altogether. OR, instead of killing them, rinse them down the sink. They won't die. Ants can live up to 4 days in water. Just consider it their water slide to freedom!

The right thing to do is to keep your counter clean and spotless so as not to attract any insect or ants. If they are not there, you won't have to kill.

Don't worry. You've committed no sin. I would kill them too if that happened to me. There are more ants on this earth than humans at any given time.

i don't kill ants, or any kind of insect for that matter. there is no need for it. if you don't want the crumbs why do you care? if you don't want bugs in the house, keep things a bit cleaner.

It is morally and ethically wrong.
Remember, you bought your house from another humanbeing but not from the other creatures that have equal rights of living on the earth.
Only way is to make sure they don't enter your house by making sure you keep your surroundings clean and neat.
If you are not keeping your place clean and if you are killing ants because they are there, then it's morally wrong because poor creatures they also have lives and they are only doing their basic job of gathering food.
