I have we were comming home in the car, the old man was driving and there in the feild we were passing skulking along the hedge as if hunting rabbits was a blackish brown cat/puma like creature we live in the countryside but never in my life have i seen any thing like it before have you?

Hi Lisa....does it count when I see them quite frequently? After all I train with Cougars (Pumas), Bobcats, African Servals, Jungle Cats, Jaguarundi's, etc. *wink*

Pumas or sometimes called mountain lions are northa americas Biggest wild cat. Yes they still live here and thrive mostly though in protected wild life preserves... I do know thet are up north in the Dakotas by the bad lands but I am sure they are also throught the mountains in other areas of america

Yes, a cougar or panther, same thing. Very big indeed and lives near people.

Took the thrill out of a remote camping night a few years back. Rather scary.

We were at the pet store and saw these massively huge mamma cats for sale. I have never seen cats so huge in my life. I am 36 and I have been around a while!

i have seen lots when i lived in South Africa but not roaming down the street like some people think but it reserves. i have even touched a baby cheetah it is so not like you expect it to be there not soft they have quick ruff dry hair but still so cute. most of the lions i saw were all moth eaten from a fight it had with another lion also i have seen baby white tigers sooooooooooo Cute.

I've run into cougars and bobcats several times on our timber in Northern Wisconsin. They are usually nocturnal, so seeing them in the daylight is rare. I have yet to see a lynx which I think would be awesome.

i do not stay in Britain yet I actually have study and that i imagine heard on television that they are round. i imagine on television even as they stated they are likely human beings's pets that they don't opt for anymore. There have also been sightings of black jaguars especially factors of the US the position they generally do not stay. They once lived in the U. S. till the Nineties even as they were hunted to extinction.

Yup we have big kitties here. You don't get to see them very often though. Theres nothing like partying on a mountain and seeing a big black panther walking down the road.

Yeah, i was in my back garden and this massive ginger and black beast jumped onto the fenced, the whole fence wobbled it was that big. It has come back a couple of times and scared away the birds and squirrels, even the dog.
