Accomodation in Bangkok and Hanoi??

My girlfriend and I are looking for clean, cheap accomodation in the above cities. Any reviews or feedback on "Funky Monkey" in Hanoi and "Amari Boulevard" hotel in Bangkok?

I don't know the ones you mention, but I can recommend the Hong Ngoc III Hotel in Ha Noi. Its on Hang Bac street just a short distance from the lake in the old quarter of Ha Noi. Don't take their first price and you could get a room for under US$30. Watch out for some of the web sites offering hotel rooms as they inflate the prices.

You can go cheaper, but I don't know of anything at the lower price ranges.
