You really have to be careful with the way you store all your food or you will get very sick if you eat something that has spoiled.
When you buy meat for example....you should cook it right away or put it in the freezer wrapped tight and labeled with the date on it and what is inside.
That way you will not forget the information about the food you paid for and it will not be lost.
Every food has a different time for keeping.
All dairy foods can not be kept long they spoil fast.
Eggs, milk, yogurt, cheese are dairy products
Raw meat and fish spoils very fast.
Cook it right away or freeze it right away when you bring it home.
If you have a question about something old...in the refrigerator I would throw it away and start a new way of taking care of your food.
Best of luck and stay healthy!

If its cooked food, you better cook just sufficient for 2 or maximum three meals.
Freshly cooked foood tastes the best. The rest can be frozen in the referigerator and eaten within the next 4-5 days. after this the food may not get spoilt but the taste will surely be ruined.
Nobody likes eating the same dish for more than 3 times considering that each time you heat it the taste and nutrients deteriorate.
You have to be living in space to even consider storing meat for 100 days. Are you preparing for a Nuclear holocaust? or just scared the planet will run out of meat?

I would dread to think what germs and bugs and other nasty things are lurking in that meat after a week, let alone 100 days! Not to mention the contamination of any other food in the fridge either before or since.

I would say bin it and everything in the fridge, defumigate and sterilise the whole thing and start again and keep a note of what is in your fridge!

Whether its a veg or non-veg better to have as early as possible as they loose their taste and also nutrients too.

If it is veg non-coocked - u can keep it for a week or 10 days (Not recommended in the freezer)

(RAW) - If it is non-veg - u can keep it for 2 or 3 days in the gneneral refrigeration and if it is freezer - u can keep it for 15 days.

But pl. do not keep coocked non-veg in the freezer as it gets spoiled very early and even refrigerator too.

Items will not spoil in the freezer, but the taste will definitely differs if kept for a long period.

It may be veg or Non veg, consuming the food in the same day is the best way of protecting our health. Sometimes while preservating the food may lose its nutrients by itself. so eat it in the same day and be healthy.
