Go online and get the address of ALL 3 Credit Agencies and write them after you call them to see what you have to provide. (name, address, social security card number, and so on. DO NOT supply this information online.

Call this number-1-877-322-8228 for a free credit report. Give them the information they want and they will mail the report to you. You can do this once a year with all three agencies. It's very easy. There is no charge.

this is very important to do. There are 3 credit bureaus and u just call them and request a copy.

I've always found that you get what you pay for. Those free ones make you sign up for all kinds of crazy stuff. Try this one, it's cheap enough.
