I'm going to try it for 6 weeks.

How much weight should I expect to lose?

Although your body will have a plentiful supply of antioxidants (from fruit) fruit will not give your body the other essential nutrients your body NEEDS. You will lose weight and probably quick but this is not actually what you really want because it is absolutely impossible to maintain, and when you do return to eating other foods it will be very easily stored straight as fat as your body thinks it needs it for saftey -insulation and organ protection.

Its honestly all about smaller portions and what you eat.

You need Protein rich foods such as meat, fish, eggs for energy and growth and repair of your cells. or not only will you feel exhusted with no energy, your hair, nails and skin will be dull and weak.
You need the good fats - unsaturated fats like nuts, avocados, olive oil. This lubricates your bones, and gives shine and moisture to your eyes, hair, skin.
And you need to treat yourself with your favourite treat every now and then. (Maybe on the weekend)You deserve it plus it helps avoid binges!
Overall its all about portion sizes and variety.
Enjoy!

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

For 6 weeks it is OK but not for life. Mahatma Gandhi ate one meal a day of only fruit for a year. See ths site for detoxing with fruit, fasting and the lemonade diet or lemonade fast.

Some with cancer ate only grapes for 2 or 3 months to cure it. In medical encyclopedias it is called the grape cure.

no it is not safe. you most likely will bloat up from retention of water weight or end up passing out. you'll be bruised from anemia and won't be able to function.

don't do this:
lack of protein
lack of essential fats
lack of crutial vitamins

I think any diet that excludes whole food groups can be dangerous. If you loose weight, it may be your muscles. Just eat fresh foods.
