I'm going to San Juan next month for honeymoon. Thanks for those of you who replied as in what to do there in San Juan (and other parts of Puerto Rico).

Would you recommend we rent a one bedroom apartment for the 10 extra days we are there? I don't think it will be worth staying in a hotel. Pleas advise. Thanks.

well....i looked on the web to see if i found something good to tell about renting an apt. for a short period of time...i do not know if you got some kind of package with a stay at some hotel...and your saying U R going to stay 10 days x-tra....well....i don't know what part of Puerto Rico U R going to (i'm from Puerto Rico)...but i did find that U could have a very romantic time renting a "walk by the beach" apt. in Condado...this is what it says.."Beautiful walk-up 30 f from the beach, walking distance to rest, supermarket, starbucks, 1 bath, full kitchen, A/C, internet, cable, patio, parking, 15 min drive from airport and from old San Juan.
Accommodates 2-6 people
High season (Nov 1st-April 30th)
- Week: $1,000
- Weekend: $150/night
Low season (May 1st-Oct 31st)
- Week: $800
- Weekend: $125/night
Special rates for monthly rentals"
i guess this is just one of the many possibilities for U...i found many more....on puertorico.craigslist.org......look for furnished apt's...and in whatever the price range....i hope this helps...i hope U and your newly-wed wife have a wonderful time....FELICIDADES!!!!(congratulations!!)

I have never seen an affordable apartment in PR first of all. I live here and I rent. Almost no one rents for a short period of time. I recommend you stay at a "PARADOR" (www.gotoparadores.com). Those are very small and quaint hotels that could be pretty affordable (less than $100). Just in case, you can go to www.clasificadosonline.com to see if you find an apartment you could rent. I seriously doubt it but you can try. Have fun

I would definitely stay in either Condado or Old San Juan... I'm from PR and I think that for a young couple Condado has more things to offer than Old SJ.

I found one... and Ocean Park/Condado area is good.

A one bedroom apartment sounds hard to find but check endi.com for more information. Although I think it would be cheaper to stay in a hotel than renting an apartment for 10 days.

good it may be actual that you'll get an electrical energy invoice while it hasn't handed a month but given that the studying is in a designated date, I moved in my condominium final month, June a million, and difference the electrical energy to my title on June five and that i bought a invoice like at the fifteenth given that the studying used to be the eleventh in order that used to be a invoice of six days so this month I'm getting the invoice from June eleven to July eleven, that is how that works. however that lady is attempting to make you pay a entire cycle of electrical energy, do not pay it. its not possible that you simply on my own used that quantity of electrical energy in 2 weeks. within the condominium i used to be earlier than the electrical energy used to be within the title of the landlord however she constantly confirmed us the invoice. however now on this condominium its in my title. i believe that if you're intended to pay its must be for your title, so do not pay it given that the person who La Autoridad de Energia Electrica goes to name for the money is her no longer you
