All the past relationships I've had I have been messed around. One of my friends said to me girls get messed around because they let a guy mess them around. I don't know whether I agree with this because it depends on what the guy is like and his intensions towards you (he could see you as relationship material or just one-night stand material). How do you stop a guy from messing you around? or maybe you can't? Maybe it depends on the type of person he is and you should go for different types?? I'm confused about this...

Firstly you will know if a guy is messing or giving you the run a round. If you are a confident person you will say goodbye to him its as simply as that..

I have experienced my first relationship (at 27). I've been dating him for a year. In the past I've been hard/difficult towards men because I was affraid of getting hurt. I had the same belief as your friend...'if you allow a man to mess you around he will do it''. I still have the same attitude and thats why I'm going to end my relationship with my current boyfriend. I set myself a boundary in my current relationship. That has now been crossed, so its time for me to say good bye and hopefully he will learn from this. During my relationship I ensured that I was 100% honest and true to myself and my partner. This is the best that anyone can do. Then all future decisions are going to be fair and rational.

There is no answer to this hun - there are those guys who will mess us about and there are the types the wont....
Generally women tend to wear their hearts on their sleeves a bit more than men - thus allowing themselves to be wide open for being hurt - and even used.
Its very hard to determine what a guys intentions are early on in a relationship - its very hard to determine the right balance of both physical and emotional involvement.
I think guys have the same problems as women though - only a mindreader could really know for sure what the other person is thinking!

There is no way to stop a guy from cheating. The only thing you can do is try to be careful when choosing who you will date, and try to get to know them. If you get to know each other and take the time to care about each other, maybe he wont want to cheat and wont mess you around. You should always try to find out what a guys intentions are before you get too involved, at least that way you know what you are getting into, or staying out of.

Oh yes you can definitely stop them from messing you about. Because you are nice and naive they take advantage of you, surely it is the personality of both that makes it happen. You have to pay attention to they behaivour to what they say to you and do : is it thte same or they say they meet you etc and something happens, along those lines. You get some crap from them you just walk out, dont' reply to texts or phoneo calls, when you see them say hello if they say it first, and walk past. It will work. Some people like yourself forget that you need to think of yourself as weel as others, being selfless is not that good. Good luck sweetie.

Its a bit of both really. If you get someone that messes you about you need to just tell them that its over and you're not taking his sh!t.
Secondly, take a good look at the sort of guys you choose.

act confident and make sure u get a say in everythin u do. if u act dominant they'll kno ur not a pushova an they'll find it sexy ;)
one thing i will say that i say 2 all my friends, make him wait b4 u go 2 bed wi him, if hes worth holdin on 2 he'll respect u an it avoids the one-night stand thing

nicely what you want to do is that if u opt for to stay unmarried then reject them at the same time as they ask you out? Act like your not fascinated in any respect and theyll supply up sometime. ignore them and concentrate on artwork and faculty. Dont keep permitting them to try this keep distance from them!(: you want to expose them whos boss and that you wont take it no more desirable
