Nope.
I am a Christian and did smoke for many years.
It was a struggle to give up and I am grateful I no longer have that addiction in my life. But God is understanding and loving.
The Bible tells us that our body is a temple and that we should respect it ( 1 Corinthians 6;19)
However it does not say in the Bible that suicide is a sin! Truly it does not! Obviously, it is implied but it began as a teaching from corrupt priests who would have a suicide victims relatives pay to have their loved ones soul "prayed out of purgatory".
God is full of mercy, and Jesus knows how hard it is on Earth. One of the kindest, most "Christian" men I know is dying from emphysema at the moment from smoking and I KNOW he will go straight to heaven. God is more concerned about the state of the heart. (Matthew 5;8) Not the lungs!

Jesus once said that what enters in through the mouth comes out again and does not come into contact with the soul.

It's what comes out of the mouth that indicates the soul.

MMM so with this logic, is living in a city breathing car fumes as you are walking down the street a form of suicide, knowing that it causes such diseases?? Shakes my head in amazement.....

the question has nothing to do with god, if you know cigarettes are harmful yet you continue to do so then yes i believe it should be considered suicide & you should be
considered legally insane.

according to my own opinion as a christian which don't smoke.
if i kill myself it will considered suicide, it is a sin
if i poison myself as if i drink a cup of poison and i recognized what i am doing. it is a sin.

smoking will poison my body, its as taking the poison slowly slowly to kill myself at last.

for me smoking is suicide

No, because smokers aren't smoking with the intention of killing themselves.
