Which exact Catholic? There are a billion of them, literally. And which form of ESP?
That takes in a lot of spiritual real estate you know.
It could be anything from the fakery of Uri Geller all the way to Demonic Possession or the opposite, the Indwelling of the Holy Ghost.
And despite the claims of every pope I can think of, the Catholic Church is not very monolithic in its beliefs.
They have basic dogma that every catholic is supposed to confess before ever taking communion. You could enroll in a Catechism class, if you don't mind the fact that most of the other people in the class will be like 10 years old. A priest or lay counsellor could help you with the details.
Also the Cathechism (a series of questions and answers, designed to teach the basics of their faith) could be downloaded from one of their websites. Or pick one up at a church.
If there was a Papal Bull issued on the subject, it would be in the last 40 years, because that is when the term came into popular use.
Most Christian churches have a doctrine that ESP isn't a physical or psychological manifestation, but spiritual.
and depending on what church you go to and what types of ESP you are referring to, it might, as I said, be defined as charlatanry, Black Magic or Miraculous Gifts.

Never heard of such but I'd prefer the natural phenomenon of esp to the false teachings of the supernatural beings ...
