I don't know why, but that hit me funny, thanks for the laugh! I'm no ediquette expert but it probably depends on who the guests are and if the dinner is for some special occasion or if you're just kinda hangin out with some friends and they don't mind.

i don't think so....
if you want to make it a bit fancier than traditional pbj sandwhiches pick up a cookbook (or look online) for a peanut butter and jelly cookbook (there are tons of things you can make with those ingredients!!)....for example you could make jelly/jam turnovers and serve with a peanut butter milkshake
personally i love pbj's
