Thanks Pommie girl (no relation) for backing me up. I'm sure people think I have an active imagination!

I'm a Pom in Oz and I would say NO! I got some from Coles and they were truly, truly vile. Tasted like leather and were as chewy as heck. Kanga steaks are nice though.
I love the Aussies - what other nation would eat their own national emblem?!

If it consists mainly of kangaroo meat rather the the numerous make-weights in most sausages, it sounds excellent.
The kangaroo is a herbivore and has a ruminant type digestive system that makes it an obvious choice for the table.
Sounds quite yummy, just the thing to go with a Bambi-burger.

There's a deli in York (England) near Boothambar I think, that sells exotic meat hot sandwiches and burgers and they did sell kangaroo burgers but were never open when I came past. I've had ostrich meat though and that was nice.

Kangeroo is one of the finest forms of meat in that it has almost zero fat and is incredibly lean.

Kangeroo can be served as steaks , sausages , shnitzels , roasted . Some people find the taste a bit gamey at first

Oh Pom! No wonder you were yearning for the UK.
My reaction: Not just no, but BLOODY HELL NO!
Revolting is prolly an understatement. Considering your other question, I have a strange feeling that I would not have a nice mental image as I attempted to bite into the thing.

I have eaten them, but actually I only ate them out of curiosity. I do not really like burgers! I prefer to eat fresh meat, au natural without the bread crumbs and addititves.
