Convert or be put to death?

Question

Is it true that if faced with the choice of converting to the Islamic religion or keeping your own personal faith, that you will be killed should you choose your own faith? Why is that? I'm not being silly, I just want to understand.

But why? I don't understand why!

I think it's silly that the media make things up. If it's something created by the mass media, then Islamic people should rise up and press charges against the media for slander.

NO, it is not true!

There maybe a couple of incidents where people claiming to be Muslim did so, but its not a part of Islam.

Last year 5 school age girls were kidnapped while on there way to a Christian School. three of the five were beheaded and there heads were delivered to the steps of the local police station.

During the Islamic Empire expansions, Muslims were sent to the whole world in order to spread the word of peace (Islam) that orders you to be good to your family and people, it also orders the rich to help the poor (thru ZAKA), and does not allow adultery, fraud, monopoly, killing,..etc Obviously powerful rich people did not like such laws! They wanted to always take control and only fulfill their selfish needs, they dont care about other less fortunate people like the poor; therefore, they stood against the spread of Islam by all means necessary.

Islam then gives three choices:
1-Enter Islam and follow its fair law
2-Keep your faith but pay a Jizyah (very small amount of money like taxes needed by Muslims to protect the country from invaders)
3-Fight

Thru paying Jizyah (which is less that the tax you pay as we speak), non-Muslims will not only be treated exactly like Muslims but they are excused from fighting invaders because Muslims will protect them.

one light note about this is that some of these extremists have been told a half truth. they were told they will receive 40 virgins when they commit an act of martyrdom. this much is true. what they are not told is that many of the virgins will be the grown up version of the children that they have been killed and God will be standing behind them, God will look the martyr in the eye and ask him " WHAT WERE YOU THINKING KILLING MY CHILDREN?"

The church placed those to death human beings to educate that they could. To frighten those that did not opt for to transform. To tighten the grip that that they had on society on the prompt. To reveal, and advance their power. The church gained a tremendous quantities of money and resources by demonstrating its power. Bukhari, V1B4N234: "A group of people from the Oreyneh and Oqayelh tribes came to the prophet to embrace Islam, the prophet advised them to drink the urine of the camels. Later on when they killed the prophet's shepherd, the prophet seized them, gouged out their eyes, cut their hands and legs, and left them thirsty in the desert to die."
