If so then, why are some of you Christian women taking birth control pills anyway, and why are you single men carrying around condoms? Are you planning to fail?

It is a sin. Abstance is the only way to go! Are we not greater than the animals? If so, can we not control our instincts? We don't need a "failsafe" if we are living like we should be.

Taking a jab are we?

I'm not a Christian..... But I can tell you that just because someone has chosen to be a Christian, it does not mean that they do not sin anymore. The difference is that the Christian will acknowlege that they've done something wrong and then ask for forgiveness. Then turn away from doing it again......

As for the ladies taking birth control pills.... There are more reasons than birth control for using them. Acne is one.....cramping badly is another.....an imbalance of hormones.....

As for the condoms..... Well, a Christian man shouldn't be carrying a condom. If he's planning to fail, he already has. So, he'll have to reckon with God on that....not with you.

You shouldn't be concerning yourself with what they are doing...... Worry about your own behavior.... Like picking on Christians!

Sure it's considered a sin. Birth control pills apparently have other purposes than preventing birth...they're also not 100% effective for birth prevention. Condoms are preventive medicine, and are more reliable then the pills...but lots of young people want to be prepared in case the opportunity to sin should over take them. Think 'Boy Scout'...always prepared. King David was a man after God's own heart according to the Bible...if you should happen to read it, you will find that he had a fling with a neighbor woman...and then had her husband killed. It was a horrible thing to do, and when he realized his sin, he asked God for forgiveness. Consequences were not good, but he was forgiven. As Christians, we don't plan to fail, but we like to be prepared if we do. We know that God will forgive us, and we try not to give in to our animal passions...the 'old man' of sin. We are still human...and unable to resist on our own power just like a non-Christian. When we acknowledge the need for the power that God can provide to resist temptation, and surrender to His will, then we become champions for His cause. It takes a strong person to admit they need help; it takes a strong person to admit their mistakes...can you do it?

No sex before marriage is not a sin it is just a danger. Birth control pills are a danger too they wont protect you against HIV and other terrible disease. Girls you should always insist on a condom. They are still your best protection. I carry them myself just in case you never know when the guy might have cheated on you and caught something. Never take a chance with your life. BB

Most of your answers are from people who are clueless to the word of God.
Fornication =sex before marriage=sin.
Adultery=sex with someone other then spouse=sin.
This is written in the Bible.
Some woman take birth control for reasons other then birth control.
Who can explain a man and his condoms.ha-ha.

If you decide to believe in life-denying myths then you can believe that sex before marriage and for any other reasons than procreation is a sin. But if you don't then it is not. Most "Christians" are hypocrites, believing one thing yet doing another, the 10 Commandments notwithstanding.

Listen there are a lot of dumb things considered sins,
the bible also says that if you find out that you wife wasnt a virgin on your wedding night you should take her to the edge of town and stone her to death!, Ludacris! I thought murder was a sin ! the bible is full of contradictions, the world has been having premarital sex since the beginning and it is the drive the controls procreation in our head its hard to control just ask the catholic priest who vowed celebacy and did bad things to little boys.

In the eyes of God, the first person you have sex with is your spouse. So, if you have sex with someone, then stay with them for life, it is not a sin. If you have sex with lots of people, you will be guilty of fornication or adultery. Peace.

With the exception of one religion, most churches no longer teach sex before marriage as a sin to be concerned about. They teach that it doesn't matter as you will be forgiven.
