Yes, it has a little to do with weight loss. Although the most of the weight loss is in form of water. The main task of sweating is to cool down the body temperature during exercise and in hot days.

Of course, not all of the perspiration that we call sweat is water, it contains a lot of other substances like salt and minerals.

Ur fundas r clear.

Eat nourishing food with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables being part of it. Chew each morsel at least 32 times. This will activate signal to the brain as soon as u have had enough. Besides this change in eating style, take regular light exercises and brisk walks every day. U will be able to gain/shed all extra weight gracefully and in a reasonable time span. No food or drink in between the food and not more than three meals a day, unless u r diabetic.

yep, it does. If you know any wrestlers, they usually try to keep a low weight and so they will go for a run on hot days with a bunch of layers on so they can sweat more. Sweat is also salty, and sodium is a dehydrant by absorbing a bunch of moisture. you get rid of all this stuff when you sweat. however, results are very minute... like going pee, you got rid of something- therefore you are technically losing weight

no it is the same sweating, you loose water and therefore weight, however when you sweat due to excersing you usually use other muscles and it is therefore more efficiant, furthermore when you excercise you also built up muscles, which are heavier than fat, so if you build up muscles you might not loose weight, if you want to loose weight you should train slowlier and on a lower level
(pulse around 130/min is most efficiant to loose fat)

Okay this might sound stupid, but I remember in like 6th grade my science teacher telling us that a cup of spit equaled almost a pound. so maybe sweat could be about the same thing.

when you sweat you are losing the water that your body is retaining. so when you lose that water you lose weight. that is why body wraps are sooo popular.
