Um...well, I don't know for sure, as I'm not one of those people, but I think a lot of people are against organized religions. That's no reason for them to treat you badly, but people will be people, I guess. It could be that the person is a very strong Catholic(or any other religion) and so they just automatically dislike that you're not-it could honestly be a lot of things. They could be having a bad day, had a bad exipence with a friend who was Christian, got treated badly by someone who was Christian, had a bad experience with churchs in general, feels hurt by life and blames God and religion, etc. Like I said, it all depends on who it was that treated you like that. Personally, it's never happened to me.

You find some smart Christians, but most really fundy Christians are either to young to know any better, too fat or ugly to find a mate worth looking at or just stupid as hell and from rural areas. It has been proved socialogically that the higher the educational level, employment and income of a particular area decreases the level of active Christians. Face it folks, most people are fundy Christians because that is all they have in life. They are alone, stupid and poor. Anyone that doesn't agree with me can look at look at Pentecostals. That is a cult if ever there was one and they are all over the deep south, especially rural and poor areas.

Praise Jeezus-uh. Come here-uh and let me-uh heal you-uh

Would you give the cold shoulder to someone who told you they were a witch, or a satanist? If so, then you know why some give the cold shoulder to christians. Also, many christians have a reputation for pushing their faith on others, so the cold reaction may be due to that.

As a christian myself i think we are to be blamed partly for our reputation. In my personal experience (trying not to generalize) We as Christians are very intolerable to other opinions and shove our beliefs down others throat... It seems hard for us to agree to disagree. I think many non Christians see us as "closed minded". We are under the assumption that to discuss with balance is to compromise our belief...this is not the case. Jesus Himself talked and discussed with people of all nationalities and belief yet was respected to the utmost. So lets try to be educated about what we say as well be sensible and i thing many will begin to see true Christianity.

they believe jesus has done all that needs doing
some think that all that needs to be done.
they dont have to turn the other cheek
they dont have to try to love neighbour
they cant sin
jesus dying means they cant
they look at the sin in others books of beliefs ,yet fail to see the same in our own ,they feel they dont need to read all the holy book
please dont listen to me
satan get ye behind me
they are perfect ,whats wrong with that.
only god is perfect ,we are all sinners ,jesus died because of our [mans ] sins not for them.[our sins] ,but that we should know we dont die ,that we all are born again ,that we have a room at his father house ,that the tares and the wheat can live together but not have the same end.[one goes in the fire to make ash ,the other to make bread.
father why cant they do as thy son shewed man to do.

All Christians will be persecuted in some way or another. The world did not love Jesus Christ. Therefore, the world will not love His followers, either. Peace.

Each sect of Christianity thinks all the others sects are wrong. They only accept others of the same sect.
