BECAUSE there is not much time left all kidding aside.

Jesus Christ is coming soon.....if this war with Iran thing really goes, please please just say the prayer!

It has been prophesied that this would happen EXACTLY in this way...before Israel was even a country. People looked at this man and said "you are nuts"

All the middle east had were some people on camels....now all of it has come to pass and its staring us all in the face!

Since 1940, this War between Israel and Iran with the involvement of the USA has been talked about. Also it is said that at the same time a place with one currency and one nation that was several nations before will declare peace with Israel 7 years. The EU has thge euro and is now really one community. It just struck a 7 year peace treaty with Israel.

So....I mean this. Please just humour me and Accept Jesus, and please dont get the chip implant...its the mark of the beast and its coming soon. All this in Revelation/Ezekial

G-d help us all..

Jesus told us that, at the end of the age, there would be scoffers and mockers who would say that nothing has changed and that things will continue as they have since the days of "our fathers". Many people say that every generation has believed that Christ would return in their lifetime. Therefore, Jesus Christ's prophecy concerning this is shown to be true right here on this page in some of the answers.

I believe in Jesus Christ. But, I don't know exactly when He will return. No one does except God. But we can recognize the signs of His coming. And they are all coming to pass right now. So, yes, I am ready to go home to my Lord. Peace.

I must say, the "Just humor me" angle is a reason for converting to Christianity that I haven't run into that often. You're welcome to your beliefs. I hope you're wrong only because of the end-of-the-world, burning-in-hell part, but I can't say for sure you are. This is what I can say.

The choice you want me to take is to "say one prayer" NOT because Jesus was an incredible example and teacher, not because in all my studies I've realized that Christianity is indeed the best religion, but because a God is out there holding the threat of eternal damnation over my head. That's the alternative you offer, after all--either say the prayer, or permanent lake-o-fire.

Frankly, if this were a film and someone had a gun to the hero's head saying "SAY IT OR ELSE!" the hero would spit in that person's face.

IF you're right--and that's one huge if--at least I'll be in that permanent lake-o-fire with people who did NOT auction off something as precious as their *soul* just for some get-out-of-hell-free card. I'll be with people I so very much admire, like Ghandi and Mark Twain and Voltaire.

But if you're NOT right, which is a possibility to me no matter how fervently *you* believe, my choice becomes--"say something you don't believe out of fear alone, or stand up for your true, soul-deep beliefs and dismiss this person as another misguided religious whacko who thinks your soul is his business." I'm afraid I'm picking Plan B, because I DON'T LIE about my beliefs. Not even to get out of Hell.

WHO are you that I would want to humor you? What prayer are you talking about? If you are talking about the sinners prayer, then I have a challenge for you. Give me just one scripture where it is commanded and one example where just one person said it. Find it for me in the bible. If it is so important and if that is the way one is saved, then it will be in the bible. Guess what it is not in the bible. What does that tell you?

You are wrong about the sinners prayer, so you are also wrong about these other things.

What's the sense of converting to another religion just out of fear? wouldn't it be better if the person actually wanted to follow that religion in the first place? don't you think your god is capable of seeing through the scores of people who signed up at the last minute just to save their arses and not out of any love for him? I would rather be counted among those who went out while standing by their convictions. I'm not choosing to blindly worship your tyrant god just to hedge my bets...

Would you like to explain just why your so hot for total destruction? Both sides, wacko christians and wacko muslims want to have world destruction so bad they can taste it.So this is the "you better or else" method of conversion. So much for this "loving" God thing.........
