im 16 years old.I had a normal childhood was considered a good kid until parents were divorced when i was around 8, i`m the middle child, it affected me for maybe a year or something, anyway since than ive lived with my mom, when i was in 5th grade i met a girl, was great friends with her until 7th grade dated her and now im in love with this girl. she cheated on me once to keep this simple. and i was very sad about this, but it seems for a long time i have been very impulsive at the wrong times, say my dog bites at me at the wrong time i flip out and am like get rid of this i hate it, or i my gf does something at the wrong time im just like fine whatever and hang up or walk away. I dropped out of school because for whatever reason i just could not take being there and i dont know why. i went through a outpatient behavior hospital and im good in the sense i dont fight with my mom but thats because im not going to school. I feel like i have no goals, but than the next day.

You wont or shouldn't be able to have meds without a shrink or some kind of therapy. Finding the right meds and therapy is very trial and error.

You need to find someone that you trust and talk to them, preferably an adult (this doesn't have to be your Mum) and get some guidance to your life. An adult who you can be honest with and emotionally vulnerable with.

I say thins to you because I was a really messed up teenager, REALLY messed up, you need to think about going back to school and at least finishing high school, just because life is really hard if you don't have a basic education.

Good Luck xxx

Stop blaming your parents and everyone else around you for your problems. You are a kid! You need to get your butt back in school, and get your head out of the clouds and get over yourself!

Do you think you feel any different than any other teenager? NO, all go through these feelings and fears... Your 16 years old and acting like your life is over.. Well guess what? It is just beginning..

Get off your butt and get yourself on the right track!

If your bouts of rage just started, they are probably related to hormones and puberty. It sounds as if you have many other anger issues that need to be addressed as well. They are amplified by the changes your body is making and the surge of chemicals in your brain. There are many prescription drugs on the market for this type of chemical imbalance. Go to a medical doctor and describe in detail what you are feeling, doing, etc. He will probably suggest that you attend counseling sessions in tandem with taking anti-depressants. Get help as soon as possible. It only gets worse.

For your age, you've been through an awful lot. I'm not going to guess at which condition has been brought on by all of this stress, instead I'll send you to:

http://www.about.com

Type in "mental health" in the upper right hand search box on that page. Then you can check out your symptoms, and see what you think it is.

If you're worried, you should go back to a doctor or hospital--since you don't want to talk to a therapist. You should see someone soon, so you don't do something you'll regret later.

I wish you good luck and good health.

You may have some issues you aren't aware of to discuss with a therapist. My 14 yr. old son has Bipolar and sounds like you, but more extreme. I think you should talk to someone to work this out. If it is Bipolar, there's medication for that, but I'm not trying to diagnose you.

You need to see a counselor and you need to be in school. It's not good for a 16 year old to sit around the house. Stop stressing on the girl, there will be more. Get back in school, and you will see things improve. Good luck.

Are you in some sort of outpatient therapy. You sound like you should be. Ask your mom to take you to see someone.
