Is RPG Maker XP on shelves? If not, has anyone used previous versions of it? I'm considering getting it, but i'd like some info to see whether or not its worth it.

I don't think it's on shelves-I got it for free somewhere. It's definitely worth it. I never tried previous versions. You can program virtually anything into a game. If the program doesn't provide you with everything you need, you can edit stuff easily with basic programs like paint! I 'm adding so much detail on my game I don't even have two towns yet, but man it's fun to both program and let a friend test your game out. I would probably do a search called "download Rpg maker Xp" or something like that because if I give an exact site, they might take the download off. If you do end up getting it, feel free to e-mail any questions.

I got it from my friend. I dont think u have to pay for it. Anyways, its really cool. You can make rpg games that look like old-style final fantasy games graphics. Its on the computer btw.
