Wind is blowing like a banshee. Snow has drifted 5 feet deep against the house, and dumped a 2 feet-deep blanket across the road. Truck has to stay plugged in all night, then started half an hour before being kicked into 4 wheel drive to go anywhere. It's darker than hades all but 6 hours of every day. Moose are a more frequent road hazard than bad drivers.

Damn, you'd almost think this was friggin' Alaska or something.

Oh wait, is IS Alaska.

I am in the capital city of California, Sacramento. The weather here had been cold and very cold last week hitting sub zero.

Nigeria..
In this part of Nigeria where I live (South-South), the weather is very chilling especially late at night and early in the morning... We are experiencing harmattan now instead of the normal November/December period. Its quite strange and noon is normal...extremey hot!
Where are you from andhow is the weather there?

Am from Zambia in Africa.At the moment it is a rainy season and so somtimes it sunny and warm to hot other times its rainning and cool.The other seseaons we have are hot seseason whem you sweating almost everytime and the cold season when one needs to cover themselves with warm clothes.
