If you believe in reincarnation of human being after death, it is better to have real love and devotion upon God for union with God and at the same time you have to perform your worldly duties with a feeling that u are just a machinery and everything is being done by God. The same thing told by Lord Krishna in his Geeta.

If you are a person who thinks chanting is what devotion to god means, then definitely the second one is better. If you think Serving the society is what devition to the god means then there is not difference between doing the duties for the world and serving the society.
Human is a social animal. Unity and strength of the society is what helped him achieve everything he is today. So the duty of a human being is to become and function as a part of the society.
But there is nothing wrong in chanting and praying to the god so as to achieve the self confience, sense of security, concentration and reinforcement required to do your job towards the society.

What I understand by moksha is complete satisfaction about our own life in terms of deeds and actions. Naturally good deeds, dutiful life/ value based life is nothing but moksha. People are running after what ? difficult to understand as well as analyse. Every thing depends on your outlook.

For me the way to moksha is through this world.The world is a creation of god,so the path to reach him is through this world..Today the the world is miserably sufferin.if we put our efforts to solve this then we ll see our sorroundin happy and ll be satisfied this most important...if we satisfy our self we ll surely reach to god.
