We respond to the unconditional love that pets have for us. There is a spiritual connection sometimes between some people and certain pets that transcends the scope of the traditional master/pet relationship. It fulfills us in many ways to have a pet. It allows us to love and be loved completely and freely.

Because they are a constant in life and will always be there for you, they wont judge you if you are a few pounds overweight or a hundred pounds overweight. They're always there to talk to and yes most talk to them, to cry on if life just gets at you one day, always happy to see you and they always love you. You give them love they give it back 20times more than you could and they really are best friends and they forgive you for your faults when others wont. You could look like anything be deformed, metally challenged and in a pets eyes you will still be there hero's and the people that wont give you weird looks and they can be idiots and dorks with you. =]

We love pets because we know even with ALL our faults our pets will not hold them against us. They will just love us for us.

Oh my, there are so many directions to go with this one. Simply put, I adore my pets because their love is unconditional, they never complain, and are always happy to see me. Granted, one can get a little grumpy if they are under the weather, but don't we all?

Because they love us so much, because people are stupid and worthless, and because where else can you express all your feelings without being judged? Dogs and animals are the only individuals who won't judge you because you like something better than other people and they won't ever let you down. Never tell on you, never cheat on you. How else could we ever experience such wonderful true love? It's as close to God as we will ever come in this wretched world.

because pets are treated as humans, they give you unconditional love and respect. your family and friends may hate or get angry with you...but your pet won't and never will...pets will always be there for their owner...ready to love, play and offer their life... :)

I hate pets, but others love them because they cant get anyone to love them, so they turn to a false love...pets.
The weirdest people are those that have "relations" with like dogs and stuff, gross.
