Obviously. Of course the god lackeys will spout some nonsense about an angel using his free will to make himself a devil (how retarded must a brain be to reconcile such crap!) How convenient it is to have the 'free will' thing to 'explain' everything that doesn't make sense. It's responsible for all the badness in the universe, and yet, it is a 'gift' from god. If that's his idea of a 'gift' he can stick it up his ***.

yes, the usual argument against the above claim is that God created human and gave him freewill. It is the free choice of human to do bad that results in evil and sin. However, I think this sort of argument is not sound at all.
Now we must distinguish between free-will (or freedom) and capabilities. For example, humans were created without being able to fly, dogs can hear sound frequencies that human cannot hear. These are examples of human inability (or lack of capability). I don't think anyone would regard God as having restricted our freedom by not providing human with these capabilities. Capability and freedom are two unrelated, separate issues.

Now when it comes to our mind, the same argument applies. Human are capable of greed, hatred, self-righteousness, jealousy and many more evil deeds. These are also capabilities just like we can walk and talk. Now the important question is that when God created human why did he let us have these bad capabilities? God could have created human so that human is not capable of thinking and doing bad. Not giving human the capability to think and do bad is not a restriction on human's free-will. Yet God not only chose to create human who is capable of doing evil but also gave him the free-will to choose to do evil. It does not make sense that a all-loving God would create something which is capable of evil and let him harm innocent people. If God is allpowerful and exists beyond time he must know the future. He must know the consequences of giving human such bad capabilities. Yet God chose so. Therefore I don't believe there exists such a God as the Christians have described.
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Evil when it was created was not evil at all but infact was a loved creature of God.

So God is the creator of what became Evil. Yes ofcourse in becoming so it still had to ask God's permission for doing so. And God granted it because it was then a loved creature and deserved what it was asking for and also because God had other plans for mankind.

And yes rephrase your question as the creator of evil and not as the father of evil. Cause only Evil can be a father of evil.

Your Question should have been- Since Satan created evil, doesn't that logically make him the father of evil?
Or
Since God created every thing good, doesn't that logically make Him the father of goodness?

Evil is undoubtedly created by God, but this was necessary due to the human being’s misuse of his free will. God gives man good directions, but when man is disobedient, evil is naturally there to punish him. Evil is not desired by God, yet it is created because it is necessary. The government constructs prisons not because it wants to but because they are necessary. The government prefers to construct universities so that people can attain an education and become highly enlightened. But because some people misuse their independence and violate the state laws, prisons are necessary.

God did not create evil and he didn't create satan. Lucifer became the devil on his own. God tried to stop him But do you know why God didn't destroy Satan. It is because the most important thing to God in the universe is: Freedom of Choice. And if he destroyed Satan we the people of Earth could have the right to choose God or Satan. For me God is defenitley the better choice. I never want anyone to think God created evil and Him bieng the Father of Evil is a load of crap.

p.s. Who you know decides where you go. Know and Choose Jesus

God as the Creator of ALL THINGS made the SOULS OF ALL THAT WAS AND WILL BE FROM ITS OWN BODY. And yes the CREATOR made the soul of SATAN along with all the rest.SATAN its self is not evil but was asked to play the role of the tempter of the Human soul away from Gods laws.
ST Lucifer was to be this planets guardian Angel until Pride led him into rebellion. now residing in a prison awaiting the day of Judgment along with the other Angels souls that followed him. yes I said souls. as what we call Angels are those souls that stayed with the Creator and resisted the curiosity to see what the Creator had made in the Physical Universe.
The Idea of Lucifer as one of the Princes of Hell comes fairly recently . When the Church decided that there were as many levels of Hell as there were of heaven and had to appoint names to the leaders of the different levels.

G-d created perfection. Satan created evil. But since G-d created Satan, I guess you can say it was all part of the plan, Stan.
