I am trying to find a quick and easy way at home with just ordinary objects around the house (or simple exercises without equipment) to tone up my midsection and thighs. Does anyone have any exercises that I could do to get these areas toned up, perferrably by bikini season? Thanks!

check out the website below. there are hundreds of exercises for the entire body. many can be adapted to use hand held dumbells or even cans of food.

skipping rope is a great way to elevate the metabolism. skip for 30 seconds then walk in place for 30 seconds, repeat. try to get up to 15 minutes straight. it will take you a while to get to that. you do not wan to elevate your heart rate too high, that's why intervals are used.

This is an oldie but a goodie. It was designed to tone folks who were stuck behind a desk in the Royal Canadian Air Force.
RCAF Exercise Plan

The hard back is out of print but Amazon and some other sites still have the paperback available.

It's a series of 5 10 minute exercises, each week you increase the number of repetitions.

It's not for body building, but It will keep you toned and trim.

there is no quick ways :)

doing 3x sets of 50 squats with 2.5 kg wieghts in each hand
tone body involves about 6 months of everyday , 30 mins light weights and 45 mins of jogging or fast walking.

you can do it in 3 months with a tight diet and supplements :)

u won;t start seeing results after 2 weeks so don;t even step on the scale until u've done 2 months of solid everyday exercise, usually the 3rd month u'll see the difference.

Try some Yoga videos/DVD's... and Pilates. You don't necessarily need any equipment for either of those.. .just your own body and gravity. Be consistant and you'll be surprised how quick you can tone up.
