I'd love to know why you "hate" Fords, cause maybe your reason/s are not substantiated... I work for Ford, and they are doing better now than they have been for a number of years. How can you "hate" the Mustang, the F-150, the Fusion...? Look at scool buses, ambulances, police cars, most tow trucks... all Fords. Look in the Northern Prairie provinces in Canada where temperatures dip to -60 or less... all Ford Trucks.... Need I say more?

As a Chevy guy growing up.......(and Datsun family).....I have been programmed to not like Fords.......HOWEVER, now that I am a car dealer, my car education has taught me that Ford definitely has some products out there that are.....YES........EVEN SUPERIOR TO HONDA AND TOYOTA. All of you fools out there think Honda and Toyota are the greatest because you guys are PROGRAMMED by the media. I didn't like Ford growing up either. BUT....as a car dealer, I now know that each manufacturer has it's "faux pas" and each manufacturer has a GREAT car to sell.......well at least some do. Here is the deal with Ford. If you buy a Contour/Mystique, you probably have one of the WORST cars made. A modern day Taurus is better than that, but not by much with major transmission, a/c, and head problems. Here is what Ford offers that is unsurpassable by ANY Jap crap car......Buy a Lincoln Town Car, Ford Crown Victoria, or Mercury Grand Marquis and put it up against ANY reliable car and you have a match that can't be won. Ford trucks? OK....well how about trying to match up with a 7.3L Diesel....you CAN'T......and no, the 6.0L isn't that great so you have to think '95-'00. How about a '99-'02 Escort.....which I was SHOCKED had Consumer Reports approval....GREAT car for entry level. You guys have to stop trashing one brand over another and take each car they make and analyze it separately.....as each manufacturer has it's good and it's bads......unless of course you are talking about Honda which is just complete crap!

OK all you Ford lovers. Explain to me why the 5.4 blows sparkplugs. The dealers tell you that it is a design flaw, but Ford denies the problem. Explain that. Check consumer affairs. 2-3 complaints a day andFord says we've never heard of a problem. Get them to accept the problem and I might just buy another Ford.

hate is such a strong word after all where would the world be without the good old Ford Transit Van, oh er well okay so there would be a lot less trafic on the roads and I may even get to work on time in my Octavia omg thats right I drive a fancy Skoda!!! on the bright side the advantage of owning a Ford is the constant availability of its parts.

I love my Ford. I also have a GM witch is cool. I like only American cars. I hate those F-ing imports.
FYI: Ford owns Aston Martin, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Mazda, Mercury, and Volvo cars.

WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?
FORD, CHRYSLER, GM. There only a few manufacturers of fuel injectors in the world. Any year, any make, they buy the cheapest as they are all good quality. Bosch, Borg-Warner,etc.
FORD ENGINES MADE IN CANADA & JAMARILLO MEXICO,
Wiring Harnesses for all 3 manufacturers made in Mexico, Japan, China, even Bangladesh.
Japanese cars sub their Mfg to China and Assemble in Japan.
Hyundai will be assembling more cars in America in a year or two than they do in S.Korea.
There is no such thing as a ALL FORD, CHRYSLER, OR MERCEDES anymore.
The Only Major Maker that controls as much of its product as it can is Volvo.

no, i like fords. i own a 1965 ford mustang coupe. chevy's are all right but fords got it hands down.
