I'm not saying that all Megachurches do this, but some do and to those that do why, are you getting so impersonal. More importantly, why does you need a persons' credit score?

The idea of megachurches seems very strange to me. Who wants to go to some huge church where you don't even know most of your fellow parishioners? I prefer my small parish and its friendly vicar who knows the congregation well enough to properly serve them. And if any church ever wanted to poke its nose into my credit history or other sensitive financial information, it'd definitely raise a red flag. I'd be gone.

I'm not comfortable with megachurches. I think its
somebody's mega-empire. If I'm criticizing a true
church, then I apologize to the Lord, but I think these
are more like a segregated club. Us ''''good" people,
and all you "sinners" out there. This is a form of
"us 4 and no more" only on a larger scale.

I would never go to a church that practiced this.I think all megachurches care about is money. This is why they like to poke their nose into your finances.

I can't think of one good reason for a church to know your credit score. IMHO I would run as fast as possible the other way.

Never heard of this before - guess it happens in USA

My credit and personal information has nothing to do with the Church - maybe they use it to try and squeeze more tithe out of you ???

What happens if you refuse to give them your details - do they kick you out?

Church? go to people search on the web, they will tell you every thing about a person.as a matter of fact just type your own name in search bar ,you will pop right up, address age, family members, that is scary.

As soon as organized religion wants to know how much money you have, do an about face and run as fast as you can without looking back.
