I just read another question-the same thing is happening to me. Now I need to know if there is hope for me. I dated a guy for 4 months. I know he liked me. He majorly acted like it. He broke up with me b/c he thought it was getting too serious too fast & he couldn't handle it right now. I think he freaked b/c he got badly hurt not too long ago. Looking back I'm afraid I made it too easy for him by always being available. He asked me on a ski trip & then I invited him to go with me on a friend's weekend trip.(He said yes, but backed out) Maybe I should not have asked so soon. Then he called to break up. He seemed nervous. I was calm & told him I understood. We'd get sidetracked & laugh & talk like normal about stuff in our lives-then go back to breaking up. It was weird & rather friendly. Should I call him casually? Do you think he might think about me? His b-day is at the end of Feb. Should I text him happy b-day? I still really like him & want to try again, but don't know what to do

Hi!
All you have to do is be a friend now, send him an sms once in a while (not everyday!!!) and yes, sms a happy b-day. He only broke up with you, he didn't say he didn't want to stay friends! Don't know how long you have known him.. sounds short, so it wont hurt to stay friends untill you have both gotten to know eachother. Then maybe there will be another chance, but carry on with your life, be a friend just don't wait around, hoping he will ask you again in a weeks time. Good Luck (",)

That's a hard one...I think that the birthday text is the safest bet. Maybe even a birthday call...just be really careful. Sometimes going back like that can get really messy and complicated. I think you should really look at how you are feeling and if maybe you just want someone in general rather than this one person. I don't know you, so you may be totally on the right track. Just play it safe for a while, call him up casually and see where it takes you! Good luck :]

Call him,go out for dinner, tell him you enjoy his company and your not trying to force him into anything .

Just be honest with him. Don't muck about.

Don't text him - call him. That way you both know what's going on...
