That depends on WHERE one gets married, how large the wedding, how many guests, food, drinks, catering. Cost of bridal gown, bridesmaids dresses, how many brides maids, how many groooms men, cost of tuxedo rentals....

it has a lot to do with what you want, i paid 25 dollars to rent a park picnic house, friends brought food as well as my daughter and i making a wedding cake , well actually a bunch of dundee cakes. and i paid 125 dollars for a scottish piper to play for half an hour or so, and my friend and i did a wiccan handfasting ceremony for them. my daughter made her own wedding dress, but her silly guy paid 5000dollars for the complete scottish bonnie prince charlie outfit from broughs to kilt , ruffled shirt and all. so you see even though the wedding itself was very economical he spent a fortune on his outfit. now that was her second wedding, her first one cost about 500 dollars, rented a church owned hall and made all the food , her dress and mine and his family did bring some food too. the last one was the most expensive, about the same price for the hall, which was an indoor venue at a city park, i did most of the food but the grooms family also brought some. the grooms mother bought her dress and rented him a tux, she decorated the place, i brought the music and cd player.and i suppose it cost about 800dollars all together.oh a judge who was a friend of the grooms family did the ceremony. all three were considered very cheap weddings really, they might average around 5 thousand but can go way higher, its all according to where you have it and how expensive the gown has to be and on and on.

A couple can get married for the price of a marriage license and the cost of a wedding in City Hall. Probably no more than $200.00?

I'm not sure if you talking about a specific wedding...the US national average cost of a wedding is around 27k (which is up from last year at 23k). I hope this helps :)

Well.. at the very least it cost of the license. Other than that, it just depends what you are willing to spend.

I suggest visiting online website such as

http://www.weddinglenox.com ,weddingvendors.com ,onewed.com

Unlike most yellow pages, they have detailed comparison for vendors (DJ,videographer, florist, and photographer) you can choose.

One problem I had with my wedding is that it is hard to locate vendors in most website as most likely they group by states and there are too many of them that are too far from me and I have to look at each site to figure out.

I like weddinglenox as they have an easy to use layout to show you pictures, pricing and location in one page, plus you can send out your inquiry for matching vendor to contact you. That saves me lots of time to locate the best vendors with the right price.
