if you have volunteered only, then put 'homemaker' at the top and then list your indiviual voluteer jobs 'volunteered at ____ in the area of ____'

if you put that in it will fill the application up

I took a paraeducator program through a college. The program ended with a practicum in a local school, which lead to me being hired. Maybe your school division doesn't require you to take courses to do that job, but many divisions do. I took the course through distance education, where I e-mailed my assignments in to an instructor. I learned a lot, it looked good on a resume, and it got my "foot in the door" when I needed it. Good luck.

Before applying for a job, I would look into taking a few classes at your local university or community college - most of them have really great employment offices that can help you write a resume and have the most current listings for job openings. They'll be able to help you with filling out your applications and connecting with potential employers you might not have considered. Bully for you for getting out there, though - I think it's great. :)

simply list your volenteer work in order of most recent going backwards, and where they ask how much you were paid, put vol.
